I brought my custom wedding set in because I noticed a stone was loose. The intake girl couldn't tell, no big deal she admitted she was filling in. I picked up the ring it looked good but I lost the stone two months later. I still had the receipt in my wallet that I had brought ring in for.My husband took the ring and receipt, they said said they couldn't predict when a stone would fall out or be responsible but worked a deal with him to replace the diamond. He picked up my ring and brought it to me with a new diamond and now the center diamond was loose. Frustrated! I took the ring the next day with out eating it to a big box jeweler who agreed it was very loose and fixed it for free. I called Hodgkins , he asked me to bring my ring back again. I told him I had taken it elsewhere and bringing my ring to you to fix the diamond was bringing it back. When it left your store I think you should have made sure it was right. The there is nothing I can do then he said. I said I want you to understand why I am leaving you a bad review.
They are very nice with reasonable prices. They sized another ring and it fit nicely. I would not use them for...
Read moreDishonest people! Stole my my white gold from rings that had sentimental value and were given to them to custom make a special ring for my daughterâs 21st birthday. They made the custom ring from yellow gold and plated it with rhodium. The diamonds used were not from the rings I had brought in and had huge flaws in them! These are people I had done business for over 40 years, starting with their little shop in Lake Hughes and had recommended them to many friends and coworkers! I cannot tell you the disappointed in their dishonesty as I truly thought they were a trustworthy jeweler! They did remake the ring for me, but the white gold I provided that had the sentimental value was long gone!! These people are not to be trusted. A former employee had posted a review that gave good insight into their shady business practices as well. Document everything if you chose to use this...
Read moreTook in 3 items to get fix . One was my bracelet that needed to be repair (Broke again 1 week after wearing). The other one was my wedding ring which the center diamond needed to be tightened (Still working thank Goodness, a bit lose but hanging there). Last item was a necklace which had a broken clasp. I am allergic to anything but gold and before they repaired it i made sure to ask if they were replacing it with another gold one. They said yes and charged me for a gold clasp. I started noticing my neck breaking out and turning black, took off my necklace and the clasp is completely black! They lied to me about the metal, they charged me for gold and everything so far has been unable to use. I definitely donât trust...
