To begin with, I read many of your reviews and don't understand why so many people are giving you good reviews. Many of their statements are incorrect. We go to this Quincy store frequently but we will soon stop going there. For example, there a only 2 people that are courteous and helpful. The rest are plain out rude and lack customer service skills. I strongly believe they get this righteous and entitled attitude from their boss Scott. Scott is a royal jerk and he deserves to be fired. He is not a good image for Salvation Army. He never smiles, never says hello to his customers and just acts like he's king of the place. Someone really needs to notch him down a bit. Additionally, ever since Covid ended, they have never had a sale. Goodwill has sales, and better merchandise, all the time. Salvation Army's prices are outrageous. I don't know who does the pricing, but your store is greedy. People are not buying as much any more. Inflation is high and your store is robbing people. What gets us mad is how you justify your high prices from free donated items. Not only from people, but from closeouts. I know this 100% because I ran loads from Kansas City and I know for a fact that even from companies it's free to you and a write off for them. And your utilities are ridiculously lowered because of your so-called "non-profit" state filings. So in closing, your store in Quincy is a THRIFT STORE. You are not Macy's, Walmart or Gucci. Quit robbing people and get rid of your rude employees and focus on serving the people. You wouldn't be around if people didn't donate or buy. Humble yourselves and be thankful to us. It would be a...

Read moreWent shopping today with my 6 kids. We went to 2 other second hand stores that their prices were ridiculous. We have the exact same stores in our town and the prices were way above. So never being to the Salvation Army we went. And prices were so much better!! And clean. And so much more stuff to look at! There were a few items and I was like…no I can get that brand new. But other items, I did not think was bad at all! I found some really great stuff and some cloths for my teenage daughters. I will for sure just be going here when we make our trips to Quincy and skip the other thrift stores.
Also want to add that the staff there was...
