This place is a great option for gluten free, even as a Celiac. They have a pretty good gluten free bread (far better than Udis!) which they can use for sandwiches or you can do a lot of the breakfast options and sub it for the toast. I would guess you can do their smoothies and coffee too, but I forgot to ask. I tried two different skillets and they were both great! The gluten free toast was delicious with just butter on it. I was surprised they could accommodate me since it is a bakery, but they did great. Iâm super sensitive! If they can keep me safe, Iâm confident they can safely serve other Celiacs. The owner came by our table to see how we were doing. He was very kind and how he responded when I said I was a Celiac made me feel very safe. It sounds like they try to be accommodating for other dietary restrictions or allergies. I was impressed to find a place like this in Quincy. The atmosphere is coffee-shop-esk but they can serve food like a restaurant too. They have indoor and outdoor seating and plenty of tables to sit down for a real meal. Everyone loved their food (not everyone was gluten free) and my family says their baked goods are delicious too. I will definitely try them again next time Iâm in town. It was great to find another gluten free...
Read moreOrdered the Govenor then asked for a side of French toast. The Govenor (3 eggs, 3 pcs bacon, 2 pcs toast) was $7.75. The SIDE of french toast was $9.00! There was a $7 and a $2 charge for the French toast. When I asked about it, they said the $7 was for the bread and the additional $2 was to "make it into french toast". Something is wrong when your side costs more than your meal! If I would have known they were going to charge $9 for bread coated with egg, I wouldn't have ordered it!
Response to the owner: First thanks for the response. I posted this a year ago and you're just now responding??? Second, I remember it clearly...I did have a meal and asked for A SIDE of french toast. I did not get 2 sides of french toast. The side WAS $9 and my meal was $7. I am aware you charge a premium for locally sourced items. I am willing to pay a little more for that, no problem. But $9 for A side of french toast is a bit extreme, especially when my MEAL was $7. If the cooks don't want to make it, don't have it available. I would recommend letting anyone asking for a side of french toast know that it will be $9! I look forward to seeing if things change on my next visit. Thank you so much for taking the time to respond. Have a good...
Read moreI don't usually right reviews but man.. Krazy Cakes went above and beyond for our Bride-to-be, Bridal Shower Brunch. She loved it so much! Our Bride wanted chicken and pancakes, and chicken salad sandwiches as her main entrées. Krazy Cakes has the best pancakes in town, hands down!!! She also loves Chicken Salad sandwiches and I asked about it. Brian, the owner, came up with the idea of sliders on pretzel buns...
We had a pancake bar, with toppings, whip cream, chocolate sauce, tubs of syrup, chicken salad sliders with the cutest heart shaped picks to hold them together. Brian is the only one who took the idea we had and made it more than we could have ever imagined. I really appreciate the authenticity, amazing communication from him and customer service. If I have another event in Quincy or am in charge of food... I will go with Krazy Cakes catering AGAIN. Thank you to the crew who worked so so hard in getting all of the food ready for us, and thank you Brian for delivering it to the event. The food was a hit. Check the photos for the deliciousness.... (DISCLAIMER: the fried chicken is from...
