Happy 2016 Everyone! Growing up from the suburbs of Larkspur in Va. Beach, Va. to the small town of Gordonsville,Va.and going to Atlanta Ga for a time in addition to a variety of other places in Va.I have had experiences of attending a wide variety of movie houses from small to large.SCARRETTE'S RADFORD PLAZA offers to families, couples and singles and opportunity to see !ST Class films without breaking a budget. The staff are courteous and very professional in manner and style. I and my wife and family have found a great place to relax and enjoy a variety of films that speaks to the human conditions in its many forms! The pricing of the tickets and the freshness of the food and drinks really add to a wonderful movie experience that really challenges the large big box theaters in our area. My wife and I love spending time watching First Class movies but on a limited budget, it is not often we get to do that. SCARRETTE'S RADFORD PLAZA offers such an experience that it is our NUMBER ONE CHOICE, when getting out into fresh air and forget about life and go to see and experience a wholesome FAMILY entertainment that does not DRAIN...
Read moreThis is a small movie theater tucked away in the corner of the shopping center. Between Kroger and Rural King is the front window to purchase tickets for either of two current showings. The price of the tickets makes this theater even more sensible for families. The seats have seen better days, but if you're there to watch movies, why pay for recliners. They get a decent selection of regular movies too, and plenty of parking close to the entrance. You can even have a little money to buy some popcorn or other concessions. After the movie, you can stop by McDonald's for a coffee and some ice cream before you leave the shopping center. There are also enough showings for each movie that you can probably pick a time when may have the whole theater to yourself, or at least close. Good video projection and sound make the adventure movies a fun time also. We like to see 5 to 10 movies per year if that many interest us. The past year we saw at least 10 movies and even a couple of them with less than 5 people in the theater. I think that better signage at the street would make the location...
Read moreSuch a cute place and I love that I’m able to support small business and keep this type of industry alive. The crew member was friendly and helpful. The prices for tickets and concession were very, very reasonable. The theater is small, intimate, and has great sound. My only complaints, one being fixable and the other being a harder correction, were the super sticky theater floors and the uncomfortable seating. I hope when we return it will be cleaner/not sticky and I’ll remember to bring a sweatshirt to sit on to be a little more comfortable. My kids loved coming and it’s so much more practical and supportive to the community than going to a big...
