I moved to Middlesex County from Hudson County and struggled to find a nail salon in the area that could meet my expectations. You wouldn’t believe the horror stories I have from some of the nail salons in the area. I truly believed I was never going to find the right place and that I would have to make the commute back to Hudson County to find a decent nail salon. Thankfully, someone told me about Carolina and that she was excellent at her craft. So I made an appointment. My first time meeting her, was around October of this year when she did a full set for me. I couldn’t believe how fabulous my nails turned out and can happily say that the person who referred me was on point. Her talent is top notch and the products she uses are top quality as well. Needless to say, I have found my girl and my place and have ever since returned several times and have been completely satisfied. The other girls in the salon are all a pleasure. Also, I am a busy working mom whose nails endure a lot of abuse. Carolina’s nails have passed the test in my book. I will a hundred percent continue getting my nails done with her! Unfortunately, I went to get an acrylic extensions manicure and it didn’t turn out great. The nail tech went ham on my nail bed and my cuticle. It hurt so much especially since she cut my cuticle and then she put acetone on it, literally like 5 times or more. I’m not that type of person to be up front so I didn’t tell her and I should have. If you are getting acrylic I don’t think it’s a good idea to get it from here. There is only one person that I thought was good but she didn’t do my nails. They also didn’t shape it well which is also very unfortunate. At the end, I told the girl that I think runs the place that my nail tech had cut my cuticle and it bled and that she kept putting acetone on it. I guess that’s good because maybe it won’t get infected. When I went to pay it was originally 60 but then for the cut and pain she gave me 55… 5 dollars off. At this point I felt so sad that I just didn’t want to stay anymore. I gave 55 and tipped and left. I wanted pretty nails but came out with a butchered cuticle and crooked nail. I’m just so sad because it was supposed to be a treat from my bf too. Also… it didn’t come out the same as what I wanted...

Legit just left after 2pm and my nail appointment was at 10am. This is the second time this salon has over looked my daughter and made her wait more than an hr to get serviced for a basic mani and pedi. Make it make sense. I scheduled a nail appointment for me and my daughter. Only 3 nail techs. I'm on time to this appointment for the owner to tell me it's going to be a bit I'm thinking 20 mins tops. Nope they let poor Stephanie service me and daughter by herself. The purpose of an appointment is to take both at the same time. Not one at 10am and the other fit another 2hrs later. No apology no comp of the bill for poor time management on them. How can to take a walk-in client and I had a whike appointment. Mani and pedi for a child is 45 mins at max.
