Update: After getting so many incorrect orders through Uber Eats and being told to come in to pick up the correct order, I have finally found a new bagel shop in Woodbridge.
First, I seriously hate going into the store bc there are always so many people and no one gets to you even when u preorder. You have to stand behind all the delivery drivers and wait anyway. So what’s the point of ordering ahead of time?
So I’ve been doing Uber eats. Today I’m like done w them. Three out of my four items were wrong. The sandwiches were cold. I live two blocks away.
One sandwich had cheese the other didn’t even though they were two fo the same order. No ketchup packets so we were out of luck w that.
The bagel was toasted although I asked for it not to be. So my cream cheese was warm and gross. And I threw the bagel out. $6 down the drain
They don’t have a salt bagel option even though they have salt bagels. And when they are out of a bagel they just pick one for you.
Just upset that you take the time to put the notes and spend the money and the only thing they can tell u is - come to the store and get a new one. Why did I pay all these Uber eat delivery fees to get in my friggin car anyway. No way. I’ll just order somewhere else for awhile or for good. Why don’t you guys bring it to me? I didn’t mess it up. Now I don’t trust that I’ll get correct orders.
I like their bagels and I like the politeness of the people but it doesn’t mean much when I spend $30 every time and don’t get what I want. I work hard for my money, just like everyone. I shouldn’t be paying good money for crappy quality and then have to go back to get the right...
Read moreDon’t waste your time! After hearing about a band-aid being found in a bagel a few weeks ago, I decided to give Rahway Bagel another chance. That was my first mistake. I went in this morning (Wednesday) around 6:30am and I was the only customer. I asked for a dozen plain bagels and asked if they could slice them. While the lady that was helping me was getting ready to fulfill my order, another lady came over and said it would be $0.25 per slice per bagel. I thought this was weird as I’ve been to other bagel shops and have never been charged. She saw my hesitation and asked if I wanted to speak to her manager. She pulled the lady who was buttering a bagel at the butter/cream cheese counter. She spoke to her in Spanish and the lady came over toward me and continued to look at the other lady and kept responding in Spanish. This “manager” never spoke to me and only responded in Spanish to the lady demanding I be charged. I then said it’s okay that I would go to another bagel shop. I then went to the new bagel shop, Bagel Bar, across from the Rahway train station. They were friendly and looked at me like I had two heads when I asked if I’d be charged to slice the bagels. I tipped Bagel Bar the $0.25 per slice per bagel that Rahway Bagel wanted to charge me. Rahway Bagels, get your act together! If you’re still considering going to Rahway Bagel, please don’t waste your time or money. Highly disappointed and dissatisfied. I will never go back, and that’s probably safer since they make their bagels with band-aids and lie to their customers...
Read moreI wanna start by saying I have LOVED this place and been going for years, however today’s experience really put a bad taste in my mouth. My bf went and ordered 2 breakfast sandwiches both with the turkey alternative of breakfast meat because we do not eat pork. The wait was about 35 minutes for the order, during which I witnessed one of the younger girls on the staff be very rude to customers that had been waiting there longer than we had. There is no reason to be rude to people paying money to your establishment, especially when they are waiting absurd amounts of time for their orders. Furthermore upon returning home with the order, both sandwiches were missing items requested and one of them contained Pork bacon… which we do not eat. So total waste of money today as well as the 40 mins wasted waiting for a breakfast we could not eat. When I tried to call the restaurant to rectify and see if I could return to get a proper order, the same young lady that was being rude at the store was who answered. She picked up with an exasperated tone and was not attentive at all to my concerns and then asked if she could “get back to me” and hung up the phone. How could you possibly “get back to me”???? And why hang up on a customer that is calling about YOUR mistake, at the very least I could have been put on hold. Horrible customer service. Needless to say she never called back.
