I take no pleasure in writing a negative review but do so because I would want to be forewarned.

When visiting, I felt that I was not a valuable, paying customer, but a bother. I waited patiently to be seen, only to need to wait a few hours more (to pick up a handgun I'd already paid for) when the rep made a mistake entering me into the system.

I left after 2 1/2 hours and was called to pick up my handgun. Then, I was called to come back the next day because they forgot to have me sign something. Thankfully, I was to take a class there the day after that so I told them I would sign it then.

When I went for my class, no one knew about the class at all. I waited as people were asked and was even told I was at the wrong location, which I wasn't. Finally, Joe came and taught me. He was wonderful and very helpful, which makes this all feel even worse.

I cannot in good conscience recommend this place to anyone. If they were all as nice and helpful as Joe, certainly, but the others just don't seem to care about their customers much at all. Went to this place to transfer a rifle in its leather case . Went to pick it up to find out the case is now missing . Which Keith one of the workers there said we never gave . But now he says come back in a week he is looking for it . Went back again and Still no case looking to give another one. This has been in the family for many years . I want what I left with them not a replacement. The people in in this place are not very trustworthy also very rude. How do you loose a case ,you take something out you put it back. Bad bad service never again . This is still on going.4 people saw this go behind the counter in the case and in the box. Rifle never been fired saved many years. Ok so went there today with the Rahway police they had the nerve to tell the officer they threw out the case to the rifle are these people crazy, and now the police dept says we have to do a civil court thing hey what ever it takes .they are not getting away with this, how dare they what gives them the right to do something like this. So I went and was attended by the manager Joe. I stated that I am new to hunting in jersey and was looking for a multi barrel shotgun and had one in mind they didn't have it even though they claim to be a dealer for this brand. He tried to up sell me and I stated I wanted that one for it's more bang for my buck. Stated he had a fairly used, and fairly new one. After buying and bringing it home, I found out it was 20yrs old gun that's obsolete. As we waited for paperwork they held the gun when I picked it up you can tell it was miss treated, but me being excited to hunt I said whatever . I had a sales rep sell me bullets for my rifled barrel and sold me rifled slugs. I went back to back to return them, Joe says they are fine and no need for me to return them. Then said use them for the smooth barrel and I stated manufacturer says to not shoot slugs out of that barrel, he then laughed at me mocking me, but change the wrong bullets eventually. Just...
