It is better to buy your food in person than online. I placed an order to be picked up (by myself) at this Raleigh/Leesville location, and what I received was a joke. The "kids" meal was actually a spoon of rice with a spark of Chicken Shawarma. My built bowl was supposed to be as follows: $13.00

  • Romaine Lettuce
  • Falafel
  • Corn Salad
  • Tabouli Salad
  • Wild Pickles
  • Baba Ghanoush
  • Feta Cheese
  • Cilantro Potatoes
  • PB Vinaigrette First, for reference, I'm posting original picture from they themselves showing 3 bowls FULL of food. I ordered one similar to the first bowl in that picture (the first in the left). Now, if you have ordered bowls from them before, you can notice their bowls has a line inside (might be a limit line?) let's call it limit line then, for reference. Well, you can see the actual picture of what I got (food at the bottom WELL below the "limit line") : 3 falafel over a small portion of lettuce, some potatoes, a mini scoop of Corn and Tabouli Salad, a teaspoon of pickles, not even 1/2 gram of Feta Cheese (can you spot some feta cheese in the picture?), and no taste of the vinaigrette requested at all, not even included in separate minicup. 3 stars because I've eating here before, at that Pinecrest location, and the service has been different. Also, the taste was ok, no complaining. The PORTIONS for online ordering are a joke. By the way, YES, I left TIP in the online checkout even when I drove there to picked up my own food (not doordash), so I doubt this was some kind of "revenge" of whoever prepared my online order. Might be the "inflation effect" (reduced portions to keep the price), but if so, the marketing team should revise the pictures published in their website and social media. And again, I've eaten here personally at this location, and never has been this...

June 7, 2024 I expressed my concerns with the Pita bowl owner on how I was inappropriately approached by The current store manager Edwardo.

“While being in the women’s bathroom I was walked in on by Edwardo & was shouted at in front of other employees.

“that I needed to hurry up and get back to work”.

Not being in there any longer than 8 minutes.

While still in the act of using the restroom with my pants & undergarment still pulled below my waist line.

Before I could even bring it to the owner Omar’s attention Eduardo stated “that he no longer wanted to work along side me.” Informed of this information by Omar.

Never changing the fact I was antagonized, disrespected & bursted in on by a man which is never acceptable in any workplace that I have ever worked for , without a precise consequence being made.

Before knowing what actually transpired that following day , I was approached & made to feel I caused this to happen to myself.

Which is not something a young woman should ever have to experience from NO ONE!

“ESPECIALLY A PERSON THAT IS HIRED IN A ROLE TO TEACH, & LEAD WITH INTEGRITY WHETHER SOMEONE SEES IT OR NOT.”

I no longer felt safe continuing or even eating there after this event transpired , & still am rebuilding my confidence through attending therapy sessions.

Soon hoping I’m able to fully recover from the pain I was caused & the unbelievable experience I had to...

Sadly, never got to experience the taste of Pita Bowl on Leesville Rd. Another case of LUNCHING WHILE BLACK! I have made the conscious decision every time I have a distasteful experience due to my racial ethnicity, I am putting the establishment on BLAST! I am a Nurse employed in the area!! I went in to get a menu for myself and other employees to try for lunch sometimes! I walk in look around to see if there were menus out, or a scan code! Spoke to the other patrons there in line, the girl behind the counter unpleasantly asks if I was there for a pick-up I replied no ma’am! Before I could get out the reason for my visit she blatantly states “WELL THEN THE LINE IS OVER THERE” as if I was skipping the other people! I replied well, I was looking for a menu! She never tried to assist me in any way! She was very rude! Customer service qualities have definitely diminished these days! The older lady in line attempted to help me, and she wasn’t an employee! Needless to say, I will not be spending my earnings with Pita Bowl! She never asked was there anything she could help me with just made an assumption along with her rude, nasty, attitude! Sure she wont be excelling very far with that type...

I love their food, the vibe, and the people. As soon as I arrived I was greeted with a smile and a friendly welcome. The smell was delicious, and the food was fresh and tasted fresh. I got the bowl the first time and was not disappointed, so the next time, I got it again. The food is very fresh and very tasty. The rice was perfect, and I absolutely loved the grilled chicken so flavorful. You get a full skwer of large pieces of chicken. I had to cut in half. They were large. I am love with thzatiki sauce, very fresh. Each time, my base was half lettuce and half rice. I had leftover each time & was still good left over. I will be back as soon as I can. Thank you soooo very much ❤️ Delish dessert of baklava very flavorful as well.
