I am going to shout it from the rooftops how amazing this little dental office is. I was recommended for a root canal and did some research and found this office, from the first initial contact I made over the phone with Jessica. She did everything she said she was going to do. She was very clear in her communication and told me when she was going to call me back and sure enough she was on point with the call back. Insurance verified and appointment booked. Beverly was my first point of contact upon entering the office, she was amazing, my belly was in knots, I was so nervous to the point I felt nauseous she smoothed me and she spoke in confidence about the team that was going to be taking care of me, she told me that I would be in good hands. Then she told me I can relax because this was only an evaluation. when got back to room my procedure I met with Jessica and Dr. Yip, again outstanding I can't rave enough about this team how loving, how gentle, how patient they were with me, they pacified all my fears. Everyone that worked with me took the time to explain what they were doing every step of the way. Once the evaluation was done, Dr. Yip suggest that I get the root canal done soon rather than later and Jessica was able to fit me in later the same day. Both Jessica and Dr. Yip explain the procedure and my opinion of sedition if needed. I opt into getting the laughing gas. But this is how good they are, because the took the time to explain and answered all my questions I felt safe enough to get the procedure done without the laughing gas. Dr. Yip used a numb in gel before he did my shots and it made a big difference with the pain I felt from the needle. Jessica gave me a blankie ( yes i said a blankie) Dont judge me and a stress mango( ball) they were so patient I'm still amazed of how awesome this team is I would recommend this team to anyone anyday if you have to do any kind of work like a root canal this is the Doctor office for you! They are all walking in the calling. Thanks Dr. Yip, Jessica and Beverly for making me feel like I was your top and only priority...
Read moreI had to make several calls for the front office to bill my insurance and to fill out the paperwork correct. I finally had to go sit in the office after a couple months to get my refund of over payment I made. Even doing so they tried to not pay me back the full amount owed. Stay away from this office even though the dentist seemed good because billing is a nightmare! Billing is horrible here!! When I went in I was given a price and totally had sticker shock. Went to check out after procedure and asked if I could split the payment on two separate cards because it was over $2, 000 (I have good dental insurance). The person I was speaking with did not have good English and could not understand what I was asking; finally someone else came to help. This person said the bill was all wrong!!! She had over charged by almost $1,000. Then told I could pay half then and the other half when I returned for the second half of the root canal. Upon return I asked if they had billed my insurance and was told “yes”. I checked with my insurance company and they had “not” billed my insurance company so I called them and yet again was told they had filed. I told them they needed to call my insurance company because they said no they had not. The dentist office called me back later and said sorry there must have been a mistake and they would file that day. Now a week later and they still have not filed my insurance. I will not use this office again in the future simply because if the front office staff can not get the cost and billing right there is something wrong. I’m left with still trying to get them to file with my insurance to see if I am due a partial refund. Very frustrated and wish I had checked reviews before going because there are a lot of reviews saying basically the same thing. Poor management of a...

my experience was lovely. The people were kind, the care was efficient and communicative, and the space was more than adequate.
NC Endodontics is a practice that CHOOSES to require patients to pay the entirety of the cost of the procedure up front, regardless of the degree they are insured or the degree the procedures will be covered by your insurance. Then, they bill your insurance and if your insurance covers any of the cost, they cut you a check. My procedure cost around $1800, which meant I had to pay that entirety and am waiting to find out if I will get any of that money back. It seems it will take about 2 months before I know. The reason I capitalized "CHOOSES" is because this practice has the ability to choose to operate differently, in a more patient-centered way, that doesn't put the cost burden of care on the patient. They likely choose this pathway because dental insurance is, at best, a discount plan and doesn't really cover the actual cost of care (and presumably are difficult to work with). Despite that, my opinion is that if you make the choice to them pass along the burden to the consumer, you are significantly reducing access to care for anyone who cannot afford to pay that much money out of their pocket, which arguably is a lot of people, and arguably marginalizes people who are low-income and already don't have access to needed dental care. I understand you are a business owner and choosing to push the cost of doing business onto your patients. You are choosing to be a part of the problem.
All to say, I appreciate the high quality care I received. But, I will not be returning or recommending your services as long as this is the way you choose...
