Every since this store opened, I have requseted the management to provide weighing scales, by the Produce sections. As a customer point of view, I would like to know howmuch and what quantity I will purchase. This store do have weighing scales at the cash counter, but for a customer that is a very inconvenient. Most of the stores with produces have at least 1 or two, and it does not cost much to install 1 or 2. I have told these multiple times. The Management answer was " yes we will provide one". But it never happened. So today when I went to get some vegitables, I found again the store has failure to install weighing scale. I was very disappointed. I spoke to the Manager and told the same as above. In reply the Manager, a male in his 30s or 40s answered " there is no law or policy to have a weighing scale and not all Indian grocery store have one". I was so shocked , when I heard that. I answered back, " yes it is not a law or policy, but it is Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction ". The Manger again keep defending, instead of apologize. I was really frustrated, and I did not want any altercations. It is really sad that the Management really do not care or focus for customer convinience. At the end I told the manger I will never come back to this store, if they don’t give a damn on customers opinion and Services. It’s a shame these businessman are investing tons of money for this kind of establishment, but they can not spend few dollars for customers convenience. It's...
Read moreI recently had an extremely frustrating experience at this store and felt compelled to share my thoughts. I bought a bag of rice, I discovered it was infested with bugs. This was incredibly unsettling, especially since I had checked the bag for any visible damage before purchasing.I understand it happens some time if it's sitting in the store from long time ago.
I immediately called the store to explain the situation, hoping for a simple solution. To my surprise, the manager's response was dismissive and rude. Instead of offering an apology or assistance, they seemed uninterested in resolving the issue and even implied that it was my fault for not noticing the bugs sooner. I was shocked by the lack of basic customer service.
I’ve been a loyal customer of this store for quite some time, but after this experience, I’m seriously reconsidering where I shop. There’s no excuse for selling food that’s not up to standard, and there’s certainly no reason to treat customers with such disrespect.
In short, if you value both quality and customer service, I would advise you to avoid this store. but a bad experience like this makes it hard to...
Read moreHuge assortment of spices, sauces, chutneys, rices and dals. Refrigerated section jam packed with batters, paneer cheese, frozen vegetables. Ton of herbs fresh ND frozen. Small but decent variety of vegetables and roots. Newly opened, they also now have a halal butcher room with your goat and chicken and liver... and excited to report that their cafe is opened. Just a counter. But it appears they serve a vegetarian and non vegetarian lunch daily. They also have a huge menu of biryani chicken. Goat curry. A million types of samosas and little desserts. Got a huge mix of items last night. While the serving size is pretty small for the curries... mostly bone for the goat curry... the sauce itself is insanely good. Insane. Each dish was packed with flavor. GOOD HEAT! Not trivial spice. The various chili Naan, garlic Naan, regular naan... perfect thickness and textures. I will say it was far more expensive than it should be ...running an average of 18$ per dish... but...
