I visited this store when it first opened in the area. I went around 5 or 6 times and decided it wasn't worth the drive. Their fruit has all ways been good and at a good deal but I busted didnt want to go to 12 different places to buy the things I needed, but now I have returned and I am shopping there more than ever. We all know fruit is getting higher as is everything, and it's sometimes not even good enough to buy, but the fruit here is fresh, and it's comparable to the sales at other stores. So I say that it is totally worth the 10 to 15 minute drive to get there. It's just off the 540, and there is a Harris Teeter down the road, so if you can't find it at 7, maybe you can find it at Harris Teeter. And they also have great sales. I have found chips on sale for buy one get one and the first bag was only $2.99 so that's a deal to me. And weren't the same old chips from the grocery store but chips made with olive oil, sweet potatoes, and just potato chips. They have good cookies like oat meal with cranberries and walnuts. They are my favorite. Only $5.99 a box and fresh muffins. They also had this jersey salmon in the fresh fish section that is super good grilled with lemon 🍋. And they have the BEST coffee creamer! And it's the store brand. It's cheaper than my normal Chobani that I have to chase down on a sale or when I find a coupon. And it's 30 calories bit worth every one. I am not going to tell you which one i get because I want them to have it when I visit. And the last time they were out, I asked one of the sales associates if he could check, and he was very helpful and nice. I equate that to they are paid very well and that Sprouts has a standard. If I ask at other places, they sometimes look at you like "yeah, you know i am not going to look right or what's on the shelf is...
Read moreI have been shopping at this location for the past 2 months and never had an issue until today. I went to the register to return 2 defect items and the cashier was very rude and unsociable. She never greeted me with Hello and when I started to explain the situation, she asked if I had a receipt. I told her No, but I do have my purchased credit card. She took a sprouts card and swiped it and gave it to me. I asked her why are you giving me a sprouts card, instead of putting my refund back on my credit card, she replied if you don’t have the receipt your refund has to go on a sprouts card. I asked her why didn’t you explain that to me before you put my refund on the sprouts card, her response was “Sorry” very nonchalant. I then asked for a manager. When I met the manager Justin, his Greeting to me was “ Yeah What’s Up” I stated to him your approach is very rude, is this how you greet all your customers with What’s Up? His response was this is just how I speak. I then proceeded to explain what happened with the cashier and he had the same uncaring nonchalant attitude. He only response was, I’ll talk to her, which was in a rude tone. He didn’t apologize for the inconvenience at all. I asked him for his name and corporates number so I can make a complaint. This is not how store employees and managers are supposed to treat their customers nor do I appreciate giving my business to a company that will mistreat and show their customers lack of respect and value. I will no longer give my business to Sprouts. I will be returning back to Whole Foods where the employees are polite to...
Read moreOn October 21, 2020, I shopped at the Sprouts in Raleigh, store # 540. Though I live a distance, pre-pandemic, I would shop at Sprouts on a regular basis. This year however, due to Covid, I don’t venture out as much. Yesterday was a treat for me to visit the store, taking my time since I chose a low-traffic time of day, to peruse various products. All was going well, I carefully made my selections and was ending my visit in the healthcare and beauty section, choosing some new vitamins and supplements and a few beauty products. I was just about to wrap up my shopping when I noticed a woman standing in my space. From my decades of retail experience, I realized she was a Loss Prevention associate. As a women of color, I was annoyed and taken aback. I proceeded to the cashier, completed two transactions totaling $228.98 and left feeling unhappy with the experience that had started out so well. My husband upon learning of my experience, wanted me to return the entire purchase for a full refund. I didn’t want the confrontation, instead I have resolved to never shop at Sprouts again and to share this terrible experience with others who may possibly be mistreated in the same callous, rude and racially insensitive manner. It is beyond insulting to have a store’s personnel suspect the worst of me for no apparent reason and to feel targeted for what I can only surmise to be my ethnicity. This isn’t the first time I’ve experienced this injustice, it will however, be the last...
