Sonny's Market — Local services in Rancho Cordova

Ever since Sonny passed away they have ran the store into the ground. They no longer serve alcohol. Also, today when I went to get some ice cream I had to dig through the cooler looking for the flavor that they told me they would get. They didn't have it. Then I went to look at food items and he told me to hurry because he wanted to close. They barely have any food. I spent like 30 seconds there when he told me to hurry. I have seen him be rude to other people as well. I will not be going back. I wouldn't even give them 1 star but I had to choose that to be able to post this.

ALSO, as of today, 8/14/2023? I cannot wait for the 76 station to open back up because the guy today was super rude. The customer service at the 76 station is leaps and bounds above Sonny's and only 1 block away! You guys are going to lose a lot of business once they open again! I cannot wait! This is your typical Rancho Cordova ghetto liquor store but with a twist. They have some very unusual ethnic foods there. I happen to love spreadable cream cheese and I buy that every time I go. it's the only place I can find the brand and I'm not sure where it comes from but I'm pretty sure it's imported. Good luck trying to find it in the store it's pretty well hidden as I think it's a personal item for the owners. Lots of things you wouldn't expect to see in a liquor store purses, clothing, and knick knacks of all sorts. I could spend a little bit of time in there...

The guy that works there is nice but takes advantage of the community or low income Families that don’t gave the means to go to a grocery store.
