Copied my review from yelp:
I have done the majority of the escape rooms at the Anaheim location since I am from Orange County. They are all excellent. Great themes, puzzles, props, and immersion factor. This location was no exception. We did two games here since we decided to make it worth our time. The drive took an hour and 15 minutes to get here from Anaheim (Friday evening traffic).
Greeted by Brooke when we arrived. She became one of my favorite game masters. She was super friendly and especially helpful during our knightfall game. The first room we did was Pharaoh's Curse. Not going to say much since this room is going to close soon. Second room, was Knightfall. Between rooms, Brooke offered use refreshments because we complained we were hangry and tired after the long drive. On to Knightfall. This was one of the most difficult rooms I have ever done. Definitely would have failed if Brooke didn't nudge us in the right direction. We are a stubborn group and don't like to ask for clues very much since our goal is to make the leaderboard. This doesn't bode well normally because we usually escape just in the nick of time. Knightfall as I said before is one of the most challenging rooms but she knew when to step in and help us succeed. My advice is don't play Knightfall on an empty stomach. You need all the brain power to escape unless a wonderful gamemaster knows when to step in and help your stubborn team....
Read moreI just got done doing the Exodus Escape Room here in Rancho Cucamonga. Me and my friend did the Knightfall room, where you are prisoners in a castle dungeon and have to escape. The theme and decorations are awesome and there is some really cool effects that trigger when you solve some clues (I won't spoil it for you). I've been to other Exodus Escape rooms before so I know they are professional and not "gimmicky". The staff is really nice and does a good job of explaining the room you're gonna be in. Their waiting room is big and has places to sit while you wait, (I waited about 2 min before our game manager came out LOL). I really appreciated the good air conditioning especially on a hot day like today. The room had great aesthetic and the props that you touch and use feel solid, not some cheap wooden sword or plastic chains. I did need a couple hints to get out which were given to you on a TV screen that is in the room with you. I appreciated that the hints you get are not "obvious" they can see how you are doing and give you the right amount of help without spoiling the experience. I loved Knightfall and would totally do it again. The staff at all the Exodus locations seem to want you to escape just as much as you do, and I love that. If you are looking for a great time BOOK your time slot NOW! You won't be...
