I do not recommend this school at all. The administration is not helpful. The career center is horrible. Their job bulletins are all outdated. Everytime I made a call from these job bulletins, they were not hiring no one. I graduated this institute in 2009 including the Ford (FACT) program certificate. I never found a job in the automobile industry. Not even Jiffy Lube or other private mechanic shops. The Ford dealerships were not accepting graduates. They prefer ASE certified with experience. The UTI career center never helped me find a job. I made several attempts of calling and visiting the career center but they always refer me to the job bulletin. They are all useless. I struggled so much to find a job and became in debt. Thanks a lot UTI. Now 5 years later, I'm in the medical field and been working Medical Assistant for three years. I thank God for choosing this right path for me. As we all can see here in Google reviews, negative feedbacks. The school has not change since I was in 2009. In conclusion, please be cautious when enrolling to UTI. Do not believe everything what the counselors and staffs tell you. They will try to manipulate you by providing a never ending documents of many job placements and availability in the dealerships. After I graduated, the institute told me they cannot guarantee job placement. They also add another statement that I must be a ASE certified in order to work for a dealership. So in other words there is no entry-level jobs and it was all a bullshit from UTI. ASE requires two years of work experience minus 1 year of accredit school for eligibility. Once again, I never found a job in the auto field and couldn't take the ASE exam due to their requirements. They played me like a fool. Be very careful and do not fall into the temptation. They do such a good job brain washing new enrollees and established students. Do not invest so much...
Read moreThis campus is all about the money! I am currently a student here and will be moving to another campus, the teachers here do NOT care about there students and they pick and choose who they do and do not like! I got into an incident where I was out of my class down stairs in the resource center for 15 mins and than came back to my class for about 40-45 minutes and than left to use the bathroom and when I came back my teacher was waiting for me at the door and said you are going to fail because you where out for an hour....I told him I wasn't and the students even told him I was sitting in class for almost an hour and I just left, and he LITERALLY told me "oh well, if I didn't see you that means you were not here!" That is no way to answer someone and also when I told the Education Managers to check the cameras they told me they will and never did! And now it's too late to check them because there camera system only saves footage for 3 days supposedly! This campus is a complete rip off and needs to find all new employees! People who actually care for the students and want them to secceed with there careers! Education managers who had to deal with my situation and also another situation before where they said the same thing about the cameras are Mr. Burtch, Mr. Gather, Ms. Migdalia, and Ms. Jeaneen! Those 4 people are unfair and do not listen to the students and don't care about proof they literally told me they don't need proof of anything if the teacher said it than we trust him! MOST HORRIBLE CAMPUS I HAVE EVER SEEN! Do they NOT work with you with ANYTHING! They don't care about anything...
Read moreIll start this off by saying i already know UTI will reply to try and save face. I went here in 2007 to help myself have a better footing in the automotive industry. They have job placement assistance and what not. School wise everything was fine pretty normal class room setups and knowledgeable teachers. Heres where EVERYTHING fell apart. I was a broke college student driving a beater car 35 miles to and from everyday. My car broke causing me to hour out of a class (minium required hours for a class) so i had to start that one over. Same thing happens a few monthes later. Both times i fixed my vehicle myself with junkyard parts (again broke college student) I show up for my very last class and they immediately send me to a counselor. Im told i need to pay $2500 up front to finish because i houred out twice. I explained to them my situation and they took it to the board members. They denyed me because i didnt have receipts from shop confirming the repairs. I explain i used junk yard parts and did the work myself. Its like i was speaking a different language then them they treated me very cold and LEFT me nearly $30k in debt without a way to pay it. It took me 10 years to finally make the first payment for this waste of time. Any community college is a better choice and much cheaper. And to the representative from UTI who replies to this. Ive heard it all before. Dont waste your money or time on this place. They only care about money not...
