Food tldr on bottom: Came here with my partner to try out this new restaurant and was instantly amazed by how much space was available. Host greeted us asked us if it was our first time and gave us a run down of how to order and where. We had a bean cheese and rice burrito, guac and chips, and a 3 tacos (asada, chicken, tripa) combo. Food was prepared quickly and in front of us then we took it over to their various stations, we also got roasted onions and 2 aguas frescas (they let us sample the flavors so we knew we'd be getting something good.) pay was quick and painless total was about $40 the tripe and chicken were alright but the asada was amazing. The only real complaint I have is that the food needed a little more salt but that could be a personal preference thing and not necessarily a bland food thing. The atmosphere was great we sat down and ate our meals in peace. Overall great experience will definitely come again.
Food TLDR: -Needs salt overall but still amazing -Carne Asada is amazing here; get it on everything -Roasted Onion is amazing put that on everything too. -Try all the aguas frescas to find one you love. -Get your burrito with the cheese grilled -Guac a little bland add salt, lemon, onion and you'll be in love -Taco Tuesday is probably the most cost efficient taco per dollar ratio -Come hungry -Take pictures quickly otherwise you will devour your food before you realize what...
Read moreOrdering set up is a little confusing could use some arrows or sign indicating the ordering style is “chipotle like” but the owner (I’m assuming)was very attentive and quickly explained the ordering style after noticing I looked confused.received the wrong order I ordered 2 empanadas one birra and the other alpastor but received chicken instead I think because the way it was written on container p could indicate one or the other. Food took longer than anticipated but owner was quick to figure out what was taking so long place looks clean and welcoming staff could use some more attentiveness since i was looking lost for quite some time before being offered assistance with where to order and food taking long cashier didn’t even notice I had already paid with the previous cashier since again no attentiveness towards customers bathrooms clean food was soggy and cold again I think because of what I ordered birra is juicy could use some foil or something to prevent coldness and sogginess I definitely will give this place another try since owner seemed eager to find any hiccups in the system to make the dinning experience a good one overall food tasted good despite being cold. Will try ordering ahead again to prevent long wait system was down when I previously tried again owner was quick to figure out mistake in the online...
Read moreI don't know what the issue is with the guy who made our food. He's a short guy. I asked for a burrito with very little onion and lots of cilantro. I also paid for extra meat. I got a burrito with a little meat, no cilantro and a ton of onions. I gave it to my wife and she was super pissed. She couldn't eat it. I asked for a menudo and told him I didn't want any pata. Half of the meat was pata so I could hardly eat any of it. It felt like he purposely did the opposite of everything I paid and asked for. I will not be returning because life is too short to deal with people who are like him. I would rather try another place where people are kind and give you what you paid for.
Update. my wife really likes this place so I decided to give it another chance. The food is good but I am always uncomfortable when I am in line because I am hoping anyone but the short guy helps me out. All the other employees that work there are great. Javier is super cool. I just wish I didn't have a 33% chance of getting the short guy who doesn't like me. I would like to receive what I ordered and paid for every time. I am going to bring my score up from a 1 to a 4. But I will say that one rotten apple has the ability to spoil the whole thing. So be...
