I recently visited Left Coast Brewing Distillery for the first time on a Friday after work around 5 PM. The place was pretty busy, which made finding a seat a bit tricky, but we eventually settled outside. Unfortunately, it was a cold evening, but they do have heaters, which helped make it bearable. As for the food, we tried the smoked brisket burger, regular brisket burger, and the slider combo. While the food isn’t the standout feature of the place, it was solid and definitely tasty. Everything was on point, and while it didn't quite live up to the hype, it was still enjoyable. If you're there for the brewery experience, you won’t be disappointed. However, if you're specifically craving BBQ, especially tri-tip, this may not be the best spot for that. All in all, it’s worth a visit, especially if you're looking for a solid beer selection and a casual bite to eat. Definitely try it out for yourself!

Such high hopes for this place. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating..clean and a good energy. Decent selection of beers and the Mexican lager was good. But everything else was a solid "eh." They were out of smoked chicken and pork. What kind of BBQ place is out of 2 kinds of meat at 4pm? When I did get the sliders, 2 of 3 were lame. Brisket was so dry and had barely any sauce (see photo), tri tip was weird and tough to eat but tons of BBQ sauce. The ground brisket burger however was absolutely outstanding. Full of flavor and delicious. The $2 unchanged for a 1/2 cup of salad was a little ridiculous too. I sat at the bar and I realize it was busy but no one asked how the food was nor whether II wanted another beer. But they asked those around me. Really weird.

This place is packed during game time. It gets crowded and loud inside. Huge patio seating with free parking. I know this brewery for their beers and not their food. They didn't disappoint at all. There are many beers on tap. Just like anything else, it'll come down to personal choice. I liked their stout. It was bold, nutty, and smooth. I had some of.tgeir food too. I liked their pretzels, mini corn dogs, and loaded fries. The burnt tips were a little hard for me.

I recently visited this brewery, excited to try both the drinks and food. Unfortunately, while the alcohol was solid, the food was a major disappointment.

I ordered the fried pickles, expecting something crispy and flavorful, but they were nothing like I anticipated. The batter was either too thick or not seasoned well, making them bland and unappetizing. I also tried a hot dog, hoping for something simple yet tasty, but it had absolutely no flavor. I had to drench it in sauce just to make it somewhat edible, yet even then, I couldn’t finish it.

The fries with the hot dog came with a BBQ mustard sauce, which was honestly awful. It had an odd taste that didn’t complement the fries at all. I ended up eating them plain rather than using the sauce.

That said, the atmosphere was lively, and the staff was friendly, which was a plus. The drinks I ordered were well-made and enjoyable, so if you’re coming just for the alcohol, this place is worth checking out. However, if you’re looking for a good food experience, I’d suggest eating somewhere else beforehand or after drinks.

The place was packed, but I suspect it’s mostly because it’s newly opened and people are curious to try it. I’m not sure if the food will improve over time, but as of now, I wouldn’t recommend coming here for anything other than drinks. But why would you go to a place with no good food but for only drinks? So probably not visiting again...

I think I will go to Hamilton instead honestly. Please improve before you lose...

The absolute most worse experience iv ever had. Don’t come here. We ordered two hours ago. I’m still waiting for my food. This is after telling the waitress and manager we still have not received our food. We stayed to support local businesses. They do not have the sufficient amount of employees for the demand. They were busy during our stay and don’t have the support they need for a high demand. Come when it is slow and no one is here.

Apparently someone quit during their shift. It really shows what a great place this is.

We completely understood the delay due to the power outage — that’s why we patiently waited the full two hours. However, the real issue was what happened afterward. Once it was finally discovered that our order had never been started due to a miscommunication, the only resolution offered was to cancel the order and provide a complimentary mac and cheese.

Unfortunately, after reading through other reviews, it seems this isn’t an isolated incident. There appear to be several instances where orders weren’t fulfilled because of similar miscommunications. I hope this feedback helps highlight the need for better internal communication and order tracking, so future guests don’t have the...

EDIT to answer your request- my receipt shows Sept 6 at 5:49pm. Had an hour to kill before a flight landing at Ontario Airport so Googled my way to this place (many options in the general area including I&O and Lazy D.) You stand in line and order food and drinks from the bartender if you want to sit at a table indoors or outdoors. Only a six minute wait for us but seems it can be a long wait during peak times. Beer selection and beer quality was great. Food was just meh. Very laid back crew, bar tender visits both sides of bar and sits at bar stools with customers and has drinks, looked like an old fashion. Seems odd to allow this, maybe no management on site. Obviously was hanging out with friends or regulars and not just on a break. Asked for ketchup at food delivery and it showed up when we were nearly done eating. Same food server also hung out at the bar with the bartender who was sitting in the bar stool. No one asked how food was or seemed to care about customers experience. Kind of odd for a fairly new establishment that should be making a great impression on all customers in their first year of opening a new location. Best of luck to...
