The Polish Studio — Local services in Randolph Township

Came here for my birthday and I have good things to say! This little salon is located on South Salem, right across from Pizza Hut in Dover/Randolph border.

The salon is under new management within the past month. It seems like they're getting into the swing of things. They didn't seem too busy for a Saturday, but I actually liked that because other salons get too crowded during the weekends. Walking in, my first impressions were that it's very clean, neat, and staff were very friendly and polite. I had made an appointment and was seated right away. I got a gel manicure ($35) done and the ladies who worked on my nails were very attentive. They took their time to make sure my nails looked perfect and they did a wonderful job!

The salon also offers regular manicures, pedicures, some waxing, and what looked to be chair massaging (the ones you see in the mall where you stick your head through). There weren't any prices posted anywhere, only verbal disclosure. Their prices seem reasonable compared to their competitors in the area.

They take credit cards and there's no extra fees. There is a small parking lot for the plaza that it's in. Check in on Yelp for $10 off a gel manicure. The son of the owner was very nice in giving me extra coupons for next time. I would come back for my next nail appointment!...

I had been to this nail salon pre-covid, so I thought I would have a good experience as I had prior. I was wrong. I had said hello as I had entered. A male employee was on his phone & asked if I had an appointment (no hello back). I then had answered no, & asked if I could get a pedicure & uv gel nails for a special occasion being my Bridal Shower. He said go pick a color & didn’t ask me any questions. As I walked over to the pedicure station I had asked a few questions regarding nail style & had shown a couple of images for comparison. This male employee seemed very irritated with me, & had an attitude with each question I had asked. He even said that one design (partial nail) for one nail would take 45 minutes & he would not do anything like it. I didn’t like how I was being treated & being made to feel like I was bothering him. I am very rough with my hands. I hike and rock climb and do stuff that always makes me lose a nail. I’ve never had any success with any other nail salons or nail techs. Even when I was the most careful with my hands, a nail always popped off. After going to dozens of different nail salons, I thought it was me… maybe my nails aren’t strong enough or that I’m too rough with my hands. WRONG!! Ever since going to the Polish Studio, I have NEVER once lost a nail. Ryan, my nail tech, has never failed to disappoint me… and I’ve been going there for over a year now! Somehow, he cements these nails onto me that even when I’m extremely rough with my hands, like rock climbing, I don’t get ANY lifting or nails falling off. Ryan’s eye for precision keeps my nails lasting for weeks! I can’t say enough positive things about the Polish Studio. The prices are fair and I’m just astonished by the longevity of my nails.
