ALDI — Local services in Raritan Township

I’m a long time aldi customer! Love aldi and will continue going but today was the first time I’ve had an issue with a cashier. I simply asked if I could go and grab shredded cheese, her response to me was “if you run” in an unpleasant tone. Now, if her tone was nicer, I would have responses better however I seemed to have inconvenienced her AS A CUSTOMER! I understand how aldi works, as a cashier they need to Keep their flow going and be fast as a cashier, but what happened to customer service? I replied to her stating “nevermind if it’s that big of a deal!” Once this was said, She radioed someone to grab my cheese. Aldi, I will continue to shop, however, if your cashiers can’t be kind to a PAYING CUSTOMER, simply don’t hire them, or change your policies about them needing to be “fast” so us paying customers can check-out with...

This store is rarely stocked and today one employee was so rushed he was about to sweep my wife's feet and only stoppen when he realized i was watching. Then at checkout the cashier who was an older woman started throwing my groceries onto the cart and damaging the produce with the canned goods. I asked her to stop andshe continued saying at the same time that there are other people waiting and this is how it is. I stated that I did not care as I do not want my goods damagwd. She said "if you don't like it don't shop here " i tild her to stop again and she said that I needed a therapist. She then called another employee who came and tod me thar the store was closing in 5 minutes. And she needed to rush . I will never set foot in there again they are a rude and uneducated bunch there. Today's cashier was rude. She made the incorrect calculation and spoke condescendingly toward us for trying to fix the error.
