I live in Pennsylvania but was born and raised in Flemington. (PA is not known for bagels so I look forward to Jersey bagels!) I come back to visit often and my mother and sister recommended this new bagel place on Rte. 31. My sister and I decided we were going to stop there for a quick bite and coffee on our way to my mom’s house. When we walked in, the atmosphere was bright and welcoming and filled with people from all walks of life. When we got to the counter we were taken back by the amount of really creative cream cheese spreads and bagel options. When I went to order, Edward was at the counter. I wanted the lox spread but he made me aware they had ACTUAL fresh cut salmon. I of course, had to have THAT and I added some capers with cream cheese on a wheat everything bagel. Edward assured me I would not be disappointed and boy was he right! This bagel had the perfect ratio of each item in my bagel, toasted with the right crunch…the first bite was like heaven! Edward was so incredibly welcoming and friendly, he treats everyone like family. His service alone would have me coming back every time I visit my family. Highly recommend this...

Okay Osca Lobsta is back guys! I’m here to review City Bagel, let’s start with a couple things off that bat. First off, walk in the place is super clean, spotless you can tell the team at City bagels cares about their cleanliness. They have a large coffee station to the right when you walk in. The team is super friendly and is happy to great their customers as they walk in. They walked us through the menu and let me tell you bonus points for using Boars Head, they have a bunch of lunch wraps and deli sandwiches which I will definitely try on the return here. I got an Egg and Cheese with a hash brown and also an order of pancakes. The bagel was awesome, I’d say I like the yolk on my sandwiches a little more runny but hey it was still delicious. Now if many of you don’t know I’m a pancake fanatic. And let me tell you this is probably the best pancakes I’ve ever had. Light, fluffy, and cooked to perfection. The only thing I’d say is I love real maple syrup but I didn’t ask for it so maybe they do have it. I’d definitely recommend this place especially if Edward is around, he is the man!
