We got in here seeing a 4.5+ rating in Google. We went in around 2:30pm on a Monday when the restaurant is usually empty. But that led me to get some good pics of it. The moment we entered, we just felt wow with decor, sanity and all the table arrangements, photo op for a birthday celebrating person. The attendant welcomed us and got us some chocolates placed in a plate with a beautiful candle and a welcome note. This sort of welcome is very rare to see in an Indian restaurant. We were served with some papads with mint and tamarind chutneys. These were really nice even though they were not at all spicy. We ordered Lashooni Gobi for appetizer which was awesome, we just ate it full plate. Then we got a plain naan with Vegetable jalfarezi, they were good. The entee comes with a small pot of rice. This rice had a unique flavor and it wasn't just rice, I think they roasted it with some oil or ghee. It was hard for me to guess though. However,it tasted nice. At the end ordered Gajar Halwa, which ruined our whole pleasure in having all good food. It was bit salty and khoa was not properly mixed. Also,it tasted bitter sometimes maybe because when they overfried the cardamoms. We also took a fried rice as a togo which was also good. Just so you know they charge 3% extra of you pay by Card. Cash is fine. Also, if you want spicy food, this is not the right place. You may go with higher spice level but it will still be less and if you ask for more spicy, the authenticity of their food may get lost. This place is good if you are ok to have non spicy foods.

Absolutely Amazing Dining Experience at Curry Zone! Curry Zone is a true gem for authentic Indian cuisine lovers! From the moment we sat down, everything was top-notch—from the warm hospitality to the vibrant ambiance, complete with a cozy candlelit touch. We ordered a beautiful spread that included rich and creamy paneer curry, aromatic basmati rice, fresh and colorful sautéed vegetables, fluffy naan, and a refreshing salad platter with citrus and spice. Every bite was full of flavor and perfectly seasoned. The paneer was melt-in-your-mouth delicious, and the naan was soft with just the right char. Their presentation is exceptional—thoughtful garnishing, balanced portions, and a true feast for both the eyes and palate. The chutneys and sides were equally delightful and complemented the meal beautifully. A special thank you to the owner, Divya Singh, for her gracious hospitality and warm welcome that made the experience even more memorable. Her passion for quality and customer care truly shines through. Whether you’re celebrating a special evening or just in the mood for comforting Indian food, Curry Zone delivers on all fronts. Highly recommended—we’ll definitely be coming back!

We spent $101 on lunch plus delivery … The Butter ‘Chicken’ masala came with tofu, not chicken. The Chicken Biryani was literally just lightly seasoned rice and chicken, beyond bland. We have tried this place multiple, multiple times and they fail 9/10. We give up. Update : edited 2/11/2023: Here is the proof you are asking for. On second note, we did try you one last time yesterday evening, 2/10/23 - we ordered a Chicken Korma and a Chicken Biryani … it tasted ok but gave me food poisoning. That definitely was the last time we use your restaurant. Attached are the photos you requested from previous orders that cost $138 including delivery. See attached photos for proof that we ordered from your restaurant. So, take the comment down about being a liar. UPDATE - 11/7/2024 We are still waiting on our refund that promised, I showed you the receipts and still you have not responded or refunded. I will now report you to the necessary agencies that monitor this.

Unbelievable! This was like a bad movie. We arrived there and there was only one couple at a table and several people waiting for takeout. We were greeted and given the 1st table by the door. Our waiter was busy taking care of take out customers so we scanned the table side placard for the menu. We were given water and Papadam while we selected our meal. We ordered 3 appetizers and 2 entrees and bread. While waiting we heard several of the carryout people complaining about the wait. One person had placed there order 1-1/2 hours prior. That was a common theme among them. The person at the counter blamed it on staffing which the service industry is experiencing issues with right now. One customer said if it takes this long you should have let him know. He would have still ordered but wanted to know. The person at the counter blamed it on personnel and the customer shot back that this happens every time. Back to us. After a while we received one appetizer of Samosa and it was decent. 15 minutes later came the appetizer of Coconut Shrimp. We needed the drinks we ordered and some more water and our server was busy in the back and appeasing the people waiting for takeout. Another ten minutes out came one entree being the Tandoori Chicken. At this time we got our own water pitcher and filled our own water glasses. The chicken was good but when I asked for Basmati rice which always comes with an entree, he asked "Oh, you want rice?". Really? Ok, so I asked and it didn't come so I had to ask a second time. It came after the chicken was finished. We were still waiting on the bread, another appetizer, and an entree. After 10 more minutes waiting on an entree of Palak Paneer and the Aloo Paratha, it was taking too long so we asked for the rest to go and the check. The waiter asked if we got the other appetizer and we said no so he took it off the check. The check experience was crazy. He had a card reader he walks around with and shows me the total which seemed high. I asked for the breakdown and I was charges $6 more on 2 items and 8$ more than the menu stated. He proceeded to tell me they experienced 20% increase on food and labor and it was posted on the web site. I said I want on the web site and used there table side placard to scan the QR code for the PDF menu. He said that wasn't accurate and will he fixed in 2 days. I said you can't charge ridiculous upcharges without letting the customers know. He said there was a sign near the counter as well but we were at the 1st table when you walk in. He said its also noted on the menu but I said you never brought us any. By the way, he needs to go back to math class because a $10.95 item that he charged $18.95 for is not 20% but a 73% increase. Ripoff and double talk. We were overcharged $20. Oh, and the other couple eating there, the woman saw the check and the same thing happened. They did reduce the bill because I was not paying the highway robbery. So then a very pleasant woman came out of the back and apologized for the delay of the food and heard me dealing with the server. She reiterated the same things he told me. My wife asked if we were on Candid Camera. We told them you have to make customers aware BEFORE they eat rather than after they are finished. Just for reference, this is the notice on their website "ATTN : GUEST NOTICE Due to significant increase in cost of raw materials and labor cost, we're increasing our menu prices. All increase will reflect on your Final...

I was really looking forward to getting Indian food in Flemington. Ordered through this website at 5:18pm and everything went smoothly. Site said food would be ready for pickup in 25 minutes. Paid online - not cheap. Drove the twenty minutes to the restaurant to pick up my order. Only one family was dining in the restaurant and there was only one person ahead of me,waiting to pick up his order. The server told me the usual "the food will be ready in 5-10 minutes". I was expecting to be served promptly as I was there, right on time...according to the website time estimate. There was no obvious backlog of orders. HOWEVER. After about 20 minutes of waiting, I was not served. SO I asked the staff now long the order would take - again "five more minutes" This went on until after 6:25 pm, and still no order. By now my patience was wearing out. Again repeated assurance that the order would be out on one minute. Suffice to say I was there until 6:35pm at which point the order was finally delivered. I would have left much earlier had I not paid online. As I didn't want to deal with the hassle of stopping payment on credit card, so I waited. Finally got the order an took it home. I then noticed that the samosa's I ordered were not there. The chicken in my chicken tikka was like leather - as if it had been left under a heat lamp for an extended time and the vegetables had no flavor left. The naan and aloo paratha were mushy and could not be distinguished from each other as they looked almost identical. Could not detect the potato in the aloo paratha. In summary, this was a very poor dining experience. The service was inadequate, the order was wrong, and the food was really not acceptable. I cannot in good conscience recommend this reataurant. I am very...
