Harbor Freight — Local services in Raritan Township

If you've never been, just go. If you're any kind of DIY'er (or want to be) they've got something you might not even know you needed!🙂 (If you're a creative, go with an open mind & creative eye, when you have some time to wander the aisles to familiarize yourself with the wide range of projects they sell. Trust me!) This place is an absolute must for 1st time tool buyers and anyone wanting to try/start a new hobby or project, as well as anyone needing to add to their toolbox. Not only are their prices great, but, unlike Amazon, you can see & hold the tools, compare different models and choose accessories (displayed with the tool). Plus, 99% of the time, you take it home to use immediately! (I'm impatient like that.😁) As a lifelong, self-taught & hands-on "Creative", HF has been my hardware and arts & craft store companion for decades! They're my go-to for everything from starter tools (when starting another new hobby), to tarps and tool/supply organization & storage, to work surface supports & lighting, to brushes, measuring/drafting tools and all kinds of safety gear... even button cell batteries for watches, animated holiday decor & car remotes! I love that I'm either finding new items (see pic) or new uses for what I've been buying there for years. This store is always clean & stocked as well as supply allows. The employees are always kind & helpful, even when they're short-staffed & busy. (I'm there often, & it's nice to be recognized by friendly faces!) And Harbour Freight knows you can always use...

Again, it's unbelievable that this place can maintain and keep hiring such friendly people. Blows me away. Thank you. Must be excellent management, everyone always seems happy and not overworked.

Still can't believe how nice the people are in this store. We'll staffed, at least 5 employees here all willing to say hello and ask if you need help. Salesperson explained the lines of tools that offer lifetime warranties. Bought a handful of thing. Mike asked me if I saw the other creepers in different colors. He said he would walk me over to them and then walked me back to the register. Totally floored when you meet people who are genuinely interested in helping a customer. Thanks!

I’ve had a very disappointing experience with Harbor Freight Tools while trying to buy a cement mixer. I’ve visited the store three times now, and each time I was told, “We’ll bring it, we’ll bring it,” but the cement mixer never arrived. My Inside Track Club membership promotion ends next month, and without the discount, I won’t be able to buy it at the reduced price. Due to this frustrating experience and lack of reliability, I will be purchasing the cement mixer from another store. This has been very inconvenient and has caused me to lose trust in Harbor...
