Flemington Coffee Shop — Restaurant in Flemington

Honestly, this place is not something to write home about. It's completely overpriced and the sandwiches/burgers don't come with regular sides like fries or something. It comes with potato salad or macaroni salad but honestly just have it come with fries? I had to order a separate side just to have fries and then tell the waitress I didn't want what it came with so I didn't waste it. On top of that, the food was just regular and service was very slow when it was not busy. I was there about an hour and a half before closing and it cleared out substantially. I still sat there waiting for the check/waitress to bring it back for a pretty long time. It was like $40 for two not including the tip and we didn't get anything...

I stopped in for a late breakfast/early lunch. I had a nice breakfast and an enjoyable conversation with someone sitting next to me at the counter.

Flemington Coffee Shop has been there for many years. This is the place to go if you want the traditional coffee shop experience - but with a more modern and updated menu. You can get traditional breakfast and lunch items, but you can also get empanadas and churros.

This is a coffee shop - not a diner. It is difficult to describe the difference, but part of the difference is that they are only open for breakfast and lunch. Another difference is the menu.

1st visit here. LOVED IT. I had Steak and Eggs and it was AMAZING!. Filet mignon! Prepared exactly. Fun servers, with a sense of humor, locals with genuinely good conversation. My server was excellent, and my coffee cup stayed full and hot.

It was a great stop on a miserable rainy day. So glad I picked it.

The do charge for using a card. 3.5%, which I just wish they would bury the cost in the menu.

I used a debit card, which there is a max charge, the can charge of 50cents, but they probably weren't aware.

I will be back, but with cash! I just hope they stop hitting...
