House of Yeung — Restaurant in Raritan Township

This was my first visit. I ordered take out on my way home and ordered fried dumplings and house lo mein. The order was ready when I arrived despite the place having plenty of other orders both eat in and take out. I was nearly bowled over by the weight of my order. The orders are generous to say the least. But my joy ended there. The dumplings were huge and while the filling was tasty, the wrappers were way too thick and doughy. I ate the leftovers the next day with a knife and fork so I could cut off the excess wrapper. The lo mein was an equally huge portion packed into its container so tightly it was difficult to extract the noodles. But picking out the fat shrimp or other morsels of meat was simple enough. We got food from here on a whim, and we’re so glad we did!

The restaurant was VERY busy but we got our food is a timely manner and it was all hot and tasted very fresh!

My husband and I both had the sesame chicken with fried rice and fried dumplings, our toddler had the plain lo mein

The dumplings were amazing!! They reminded us of the ones from the Chinese place from our home town and we each could have eaten 14 of them right now.

The sesame chicken and fried rice were both delicious! Cooked perfectly, the chicken was so good and the rice has bean sprouts which I LOVE

Our toddler can be picky but gobbled the noodles right down!

Just OK. We ordered lunch specials. Both dishes had way too little sauce. The beef and broccoli had very little beef, and the flavor was so-so; the broccoli was cooked nicely. The General Tso's Chicken had a much better serving of meat, but the sauce was mild and lacked spice. The hot and sour soup was tangy, but not as flavorful as others I have had, and seemed more gooey/ gelatinous. The beef and broccoli sauce was also on the gelatinous side and seemed pretty thick compared to beef and broccoli I have had elsewhere. The food was not bad, but next time we will try other...
