Paddle House — Local services in Redondo Beach

My wife and I rented two paddle boards here for 2 hours. 15 minutes in we found a dead body floating in the water, called for help, ect and returned within 30 minutes traumatized and wanting out of the water as soon as possible. Asked for a refund and the teenagers working were unsure how to handle and told us to call the next day. I called the following morning asking for a refund and the guy on the phone was immediately incredibly rude. He said all they could provide was a voucher. I asked how we receive a voucher (we never want to go near this place again) and he said just come in and ask. I asked how they would know it was us and he started yelling at me for “asking weird questions”...

We had rented out paddle boards for the sole purpose of seeing the sea lions. We had specifically mentioned that we wanted to see them multiple times and the person working neglected to tell us they had left. When we paddled out we were disappointed to see that there was close to no sea lions and a fisherman said that they had been gone for the past two weeks or so. When we returned and asked about it, the person working said that he had knew about it. It was a poor business move to neglect to tell us when he had in fact known.
