It's location on the pier is a welcome change of scenery from the usual rec centre backdrop most parks have. The park itself is a simple enough design but unique enough to make it stand out from other parks. Plenty of flatground also.
My favourite thing is the bank to curb. The hip is real nice too and plenty of ledge combos around. The inclusion of the big quarter and the bump to ball ensures there's something here for everyone, whether you're just starting out or you're a seasoned pro.

Some cool people there to talk with and learn new tips for skateboarding. I do have some complaints as the smell of the water near as it is very dirty and the scooter kids as they do get in the way ( to be exact kid ages 5-7) as they don't have awareness and could snake up to you. Read moreI’m not one to leave reviews especially for a skate park. I’m pretty decent at skating, and was excited to skate this park. Wow was I surprised spoon ranch dropped the ball on this park. The cracks on the ground are the size of my wheel and are every 10ft. You can tell they know they paved it terribly because they attempted to bondo the cracks. I’m not in the streets, I’m at a park, the last think I want is 1.5” cracks before every obstacle. I will never go back...
