I have been looking for a local computer store for a while as I prefer to buy local and I recently contacted South Bay Geek for a custom PC build for my kids, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience! I made an appointment with them and from the moment I walked in, the staff were professional, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable. I’m not a computer expert whatsoever and I simply explained what I needed: a computer for my kids to play games and do homework. They helped me pick the best components for my budget and I couldn’t believe that they went out of their way to make sure I wasn’t overpaying for the computer. They seem to really know their stuff. The turnaround time was fast, and the PC looks really cool and sleek. My kids are completely happy as they can play all their games now! They also took the time to explain everything, making sure I understood how to maintain and use the system and better yet, they’re always a call away for support. My custom PC that I purchased used was overdue for an upgrade. We're talking parts that were 10+ years old.

I wasn't confident in my ability to basically build a whole new PC from scratch. The most I've done was replace RAM and GPU, but I bought pretty much all new parts for my upgrade. After watching a YouTube video, I honestly didn't want to go through the hassle of it.

That's when I found South Bay Geek to build my PC for me. I told him all the parts I had and he asked great questions to make sure we had everything for the upgrade. I really valued that attention to detail so we could save headaches when it came to build time.

I dropped off all my parts and he turnarounded the next day. Was faster than I expected! He just did the build for me and I continued on by installing the OS and all drivers since I'm very comfortable doing that myself.

We had slow WiFi frontier came out a few times and did nothing they kept on charging couple hundred dollars everytime they came out and didn’t fix the problem! And of course you call them it’s all automated and couldn’t talk to a person! We were so frustrated with our system and to top it off all our business computers were running slow. The person we used before retired years ago and we didn’t know what to do. We contacted a few businesses to get quotes and ideas. South Bay Geek went above and beyond.
