Went to this place yesterday, with my cousin and his wife , I was looking for a humidifier, they had one in a box, it looked slightly used but in great shape, they wanted $25 for it, I offered them $20 for it , they declined my offer, we looked it up online and found that they go for that new from a store nearby for around the same price, needless to say I did not buy it. My cousin tried to buy something as did his wife, once again, we looked upwhat my cousins wife wanted to buy and it went for the same price that this store was asking, but new never used . A short bookcase from walmart and used...asking more than new. Used Sofas and furniture that clearly needs to be reupholstered and refinished marked off the charts high.Clothes put out with lots of wear and still asking 20+ $....

For some recipient nonprofits this can be a significant portion of their budget. I love that the volunteer work is "compensated" by funds going to support local causes.
