This place is where I go to get boba usually because it’s one of the only places around that serves it. Their boba however, is sometimes mediocre and watered down. It’s definitely not authentic boba, more like a cheap knock off, especially with the Thai tea flavor and taro flavor, both of which did not resemble the exotic flavors they claimed to be. It’s still better than the boba truck outside of the Valdosta mall though. Secondly, their food is probably the most un-Japanese food I’ve ever had and resembles that of American cuisine. Their “teriyaki” steak is just normal steak, and their sauce is some mixture of what I believe to be mayo and ketchup and probably some other condiments. Ultimately, this place is on the mediocre side, but it’s the only place around these parts to get “okay” boba. One of their best flavors would probably be peach, which was pretty good. I’ve been coming here for years, in the beginning before they changed from the styrofoam plates to these new plastic ones, the food was worth it! They would give you a hefty plate for the price, now they keep giving you less and less for the same price. Today I ordered two teriyaki steaks and they gave me two teriyaki chicken orders, I was very specific about wanting steak and it was repeated back to me bc I even thought of doing a combo plate but said I don’t want chicken I wanted two portions of steak, teriyaki and mushroom but I couldn’t do that so I ordered two plates of steak. I get home and notice the mistake and come back it was fixed but the plates we were given were nowhere near as full as the ones we returned. Super disappointed. Ordered: 3 Hibatchi Steak Combos (yum yum sauce, soy sauce, plasticware came with it)

Wait: Was a little wait, due to grand opening & vehicles backed up onto the road

SO, I ordered online & parked in spot #1 ordering online is FASTER, then waiting to order in drive thru!!

Timing: 10 min was the time frame, but it was done, & brought to me within 15 minutes....still faster than drive thru....

Food: Steak Tender (not dry or chewy, like I was expecting) Carrots sweet. Rice: Not a fan of the rice, due to egg (strong egg smell too) The yum yum sauce has a ranch vibe going on....

Cost: $10.95 per Steak Hibatchi It was a good amount of food for $10.95...Surprised me!!

I will go back & try new items...maybe even substitute the rice & carrots for something else.
