Relish — Restaurant in Valdosta

Disappointing all around. I ordered a double burger combo and one of the patties was pretty rare, unfortunately I'd eaten half of it before I realized. The young person who took my order was pleasant enough but the person who built my burger and the person who handed off the food could have been robots as they didn't engage whatsoever. I told both thank you and no response from them. The was a person near the door sweeping and as I exited I told her to have a nice evening and again, no response. Why people can't be cordial I just don't understand. The lights in the front part of the dining room were off so it made the place looked closed yet it was only 8:30pm on a Saturday night. Also, I'd tried to order online but after selecting my meal the app said it would be 80-90 minutes before the food was ready. I don't understand that because there was one table already seated/eating when I came in and no other customers. My first time visiting. I don't eat burgers a lot, but this place definitely may cause me start. It was delicious! The burger was dressed in front of me and there were so many yummy toppings to choose from for it (picture yourself at Subway, but with a burger). This was a BIG PLUS because you can't watch what people are doing to your food when they fix it at your standard burgers places and I often worry about someone doing something nasty to my food 😒 Also, the entire staff that I interacted with was so helpful and friendly (you guys know I LOVE great customer service)! This is my favorite Burger place in Valdosta. The patties are delicious (better than Five Guys) and they allow you to choose your fixings burrito style (i.e. you can tell them what you want and they put them on in front of you). The Thai chili sauce is especially good (which you may not have guessed on a hamburger). The kids meal is a good deal at $5.95 (the sandwich is the same as a normal single and you can pick hamburger, chicken patty, veggie burger, or turkey burger, which makes it reasonable if you have children). The place is always clean and the staff are cool. The only reason I am not giving five stars is because the combo is an additional $3.95...which is steep (albeit you can make it a milk shake for $4.95, which makes it more worth the price).
