Waffle House — Restaurant in Remerton

I gave them three stars because the food was good. Me and my fiance was there this morning, the 4th of November. We ordered two coffees and two waters along with two sandwich plates. The server, who is a young black woman, took her time while getting everyone's drinks and waiting for her turn to call out the order. What she didn't do was take her time and get our drinks to us which happened to be two minutes before I got my food. She only stood around waiting g for her turn to call instead of doing other things she should have done, like for example, like bring our drinks when we asked for them the first time. She them charged me for extra pickle when I know in fact they don't charge for extra pickle because I worked at waffle house before. There might have been a crowd, but she could have done better with her time. I left a tip because I felt bad for her, really. She wasn't getting tipped due to her attitude and being late with the others table in front of us. She didn't tell us her name, that is why I described her. I will never eat here again. My boys and I came in and waited for a clean table they never cleaned them. I heard server saying the last shift left dirty tables do she wasn't cleaning them. We decided to sit at counter. We got our drinks and then waited for over 15 min and never had our order taken. Keep in mind no new tables came in. We sat there listening to the server complain about management, and about previous shift for the entire time. The server then began to cus talking about not warring her shirt since no one else does (I assume she was referring to a Waffle House shirt) I then got up asked to pay for our 3 drinks becouse I don't speak that way in front of my kids and I won't let them listen to others useing foul language. Please understand I can deal with slow service I've ran restaurants for 21 years it happens. What I can't deal with is poor service due to not employees not caring. I will not go back to this location. And based on this visit I don't recommend anyone else...

I swear this is the absolute worst!!!! Idk why I keep coming here, ig because it's close to my house. Every time I come here it's something! Tonight I called for about 10 min, and the phone rang. I get in here and there are absolutely no customers in here and everyone is cleaning and in their own world. The last time I came last week the old lady charged me more for my waffle and sausage patty!!! Then a few weeks ago they burnt my hash browns and got an attitude when I wanted them re made. Who ever the leader of this store is needs to let the associates know customer service is first and foremost! With no customers there will be no revenue, no revenue means no need for them or their job! I mean damn how hard is it to focus on the customers.
