Mid Street Bar and Grill — Restaurant in Remerton

So I normally don’t go out much and the one night I decided to go out I had ice thrown at me by the owner for dancing holding on to on a piece of equipment that I had no knowledge of being an heater. I’ve visited the establishment years ago. As I stated I don’t go out much because I uphold my self as a business individual and that’s not the scene for me. I was enjoying myself until the owner stared throwing ice at me. I felt embarrassed and humiliated and I felt like I was being targeted because ima apart of the lgbtq community dancing in such way. I did let the owner know that if he didn’t want anyone grabbing certain things he should put signs out to so people could be aware to not damage or simply touch. The owner was very hostile with me and will not be getting my business EVER again…also I let the owner know that if he was needed to grasp my attention throwing ice at me was not the correct way to get my attention to not hold onto the unknown heater. HOW RUDE!!!!!!!!! And I will be taking this a lot further since he didn’t seem to care while speaking...

Stopped in here because we were looking for a place to grab something to eat, have a few drinks and shoot some pool. Unfortunately they didn't have pool tables, but that is my only complaint. Tristan was an excellent bartender and prepared my drinks perfectly, (and I AM PICKY!!). We ordered the pork sliders, (my son wanted to try the ham and cheese, but sadly, their cooler had gone out the night before), so instead he had the pork sliders which he said were great. We shared an order order cheese curds, and as a self-proclaimed expert, who has tried them coast to coast and even in the Cheese Capitol of Wisconsin, have to say the best I have ever had. I had the teriyaki wings as my main. The sauce was AWESOME!! Richard, the cook, prepared everything perfectly!!! All in all, coming here expecting to be disappointed, I have to say Mid Street Bar is definitely a place you want to come to if you are ever in Valdosta, GA and want good food, good beverages and good atmosphere. This place had such a great small town vibe! We stopped in for a quick drink on our way through and ended up staying for 5 hours chatting with the staff and some locals and watching football. Richard is a great guy and took pride in the food he served. He actually recommended something other than what we had ordered because he said he didn’t like the way it turned out and didn’t feel confident in serving it (amazing!) so we took his advice and were very pleased.
