Fabulous Pizza — Restaurant in Valdosta

Honestly, they get the two stars because the food was pretty good (besides the crust lacking any and all flavor), but that’s it. We went with a couple friends who recommended the place, and we were kind of disappointed. Our waitress hardly ever checked on us even though we were a fairly large party and literally the only ones in the restaurant for a while. She never even told us her name. They were out of so many of their menu options. No steak, no fried mushrooms because their fryer is down, no shells to make cannolis. They were out of steak so I thought they would compensate on my pizza by adding more chorizo, but I still ended up with a pizza that was mainly sauce and cheese with maybe 4 pieces of meat. The chef messed up my pizza even more and forgot to put literally half its toppings (no cilantro, red pepper, or jalapeños on top of the lack of steak), and they still made us pay full price for it. I didn’t even realise before I had ate some because I was ridiculously hungry since it took SO LONG to come out. Our friends had said before that their trip took 30 mins max for dine in, and we spent over an hour there simply because of the wait for the food. Everything was devoured within seconds when we actually got things because it took so long. I sympathise a little because she said the owners were out of town, but that shouldn’t be an excuse for everything that happened. We didn’t want to make a big deal about everything that went wrong because we’re not big on conflict and were trying to enjoy time with our friends, but it was kinda ridiculous. I am not one to take the time to write a negative review. I love being able to write a review of my glowingly positive experience to help small businesses, however my experience at Fabulous Pizza was memorable to say the least.

First off, good luck reaching them by phone to place an order. After trying to call on occasional lazy nights when the wife and I didn't cook for weeks, no one ever answered the phone. It was almost humorous at this point. On night I decided to call for the hell of it and I got an answer.

I ordered a basic pepperoni pizza for pick-up. When I arrived it was smoky and smelt musty. The restaurant had 4 dirty tables with the employees lounging around seemingly no intention to clean the disgusting tables.

And the worst part, the kitchen ceiling was leaking and dripping water all over, like it was lightly raining. It was honestly quite a sight. They had placed cardboard which covered the floors that were soaking wet and discolored, which to me indicated their ceiling was leaking for a few days at least.

Despite all this I still purchased the pizza I ordered and gave them the benefit of the doubt. Needless to say the Pizza tasted like foul smoke mixed with bland cheese and undercooked pepperoni.

Extremely disappointed as I was happy to find a small Pizza place in Valdosta. I would rather eat an uncooked frozen pizza pocket than be subjected to Fabulous Pizza's "fabulous"...

Absolute dissapointment. It has been multiple times now that we have been let down from this "pizza joint". It has been multiple occasions that my family has ordered pick up from this place and we always get the same excuse, which does seem a little odd. The first time we ordered I was told it would be 30-35 mins, which is understandable. I arrived approx. 45 mins later only to be told that there was an issue with the ordering system and it seemed as if they just put our order when I arrived which I had to wait an additional 30 mins. The same thing happened when I ordered a second time on 11/03/23. I only ordered a 14" pizza and was told it would only take 20-25 mins. I again waited longer just in case so I arrived 40-45 mins after order, onlly to be told the same thing that there was an issues with the over the phone ordering system and they just now started our order. Not to mention I was there with my 6 year old son who was hungry and was watching other customers who came in after us pick up thier food as soon as they arrived. Not sure if there is favoritism if your a local but definitely be aware before you order food from this enitity. Very unorganized and Gabriel (The manager) is very unprofessional. He seemed like he did not want to be there and did not want to take any accountability. Will not be going back and do not recommend unless you are a local ...
