SouthTowne Crossing is a solid, accessible shopping destination that does a lot of things right. Anchored by Super Walmart and packed with more than 40 businesses and eateries, the center manages to offer both convenience and variety.

What shines:

Ease & accessibility: Located just off Damonte Ranch Parkway and close to Hwy 580, it’s easy to get to. Ample parking makes loading up groceries or shopping bags a breeze.

Strong tenant mix: From everyday staples to local spots, there’s a good balance—Walmart pairs with smaller shops, cafés, and fast food.

Clean, well-organized layout: Many visitors praise its tidy appearance, clear signage, and thoughtful store arrangement.

Room for improvement:

Covered parking lacking: Some visitors note that there are few (if any) covered parking areas, which can be uncomfortable in hot or rainy weather.

Restaurant wait times: During busy lunch or dinner hours, getting seated or served at dining spots in the center can drag a bit.

Can't recommend them. We phoned in an order around 7PM on a Sunday evening after working hard all weekend and not feeling like cooking. Showed up to pick up the order and found out they never bothered to cook our order. Waited around there for them to cook it. They never even apologized.

The service staff are obviously not well managed. They didn't even offer to comp us with a discount for our trouble. The manager phoned us back to say he just moved here from Nor Cal to take over the franchise. He said he was trying to turn things around and that he would send us a coupon for a free pizza. We never heard from them again. Very weak manager.

THIS REVIEW IS ACTUALLY FOR THE SOUTH CREEK RETAIL CENTER. This shopping center has everything you could ask for when out shopping with your friends! It has high end boutique shops with everything from fine jewelry to clothing, furniture and stuff for your four legged friends. It also has some of the best food in all of south Reno! From the best breakfast to great pizza and Mexican food and other cool places to have a glass of wine or craft beer after work.
