Everything I’ve tried so far is excellent. A Culinary Delight at Ijji Noodle House & Poke Don

Ijji Noodle House & Poke Don in Reno is a hidden gem that has quickly become my go-to spot for delicious Asian cuisine. Nestled on Damonte Ranch Parkway, this restaurant offers a diverse menu that caters to a variety of palates. Here’s a rundown of my recent experience that left me thoroughly impressed.

Ijji Fried Rice: I started my meal with their Ijji Fried Rice, a delightful combination of chicken and shrimp prepared Hibachi style. Priced at $14.95, this dish is a steal considering the generous portions and the burst of flavors with every bite. The rice was perfectly cooked, with a slight crispiness that added texture, and the balance of chicken and shrimp was just right.

Banh Mi-Bulgogi Bf: Next up was the Banh Mi-Bulgogi Beef sandwich ($12.45). This dish was a delightful fusion of Vietnamese and Korean flavors. The bulgogi beef was tender and flavorful, complemented by fresh vegetables and a crispy baguette. It’s a must-try for anyone looking for a unique and satisfying meal.

Bulgogi Beef Ramen: The Bulgogi Beef Ramen ($17.95) was a standout dish. The broth was rich and savory, the noodles were perfectly cooked, and the bulgogi beef added a delightful sweetness. The side of spice was a perfect addition for those who enjoy a little heat.

Sides: I couldn’t resist adding a couple of sides to my meal. The flame-broiled pork ($5.00 each) was succulent and packed with flavor. These sides were the perfect complement to the main dishes, adding a bit of variety and extra satisfaction.

Drinks: To wash it all down, I opted for a Corona ($6.00) and a glass of Cabernet ($7.00). The drinks were well-priced and perfectly complemented the rich flavors of the food.

Poke Bowl Options: While I didn’t get a Poke Bowl this time, the menu offers a customizable poke experience. You can choose your size, base, protein, sauce, toppings, and seasoning, making it easy to create a bowl tailored to your taste. The options include a variety of fresh proteins like salmon, tuna, and yellowtail, along with a range of sauces and toppings.

Outstanding Customer Service: One of the most remarkable aspects of Ijji Noodle House & Poke Don is their exceptional customer service. After just two visits, my waitress Victoria already knew my name and greeted me warmly as I walked in the door. She even remembered my previous order, which made me feel incredibly welcomed and valued. Shout out to Jeff as well, who was extremely nice and added to the friendly atmosphere. The ambiance here feels less like entering a restaurant and more like visiting a family home.

Overall, my experience at Ijji Noodle House & Poke Don was nothing short of fantastic. The quality of the food, the generous portions, and the outstanding service make it a place I’ll return to again and again. Whether you’re in the mood for poke, ramen, or a delicious fusion dish, Ijji Noodle House & Poke Don has something to satisfy...

This place is delicious. The portions are generous. I would highly recommend trying it out if you like Japanese, Korean, or Vietnamese food.

The menu is diverse enough to have options but limited enough that every item is still expertly prepared. It's a nice mix. Something for everyone, even the kids.

The ramen was excellent. Quite a big bowl. Noodles were firm so they didn't get soggy in the soup. Toppings were very tasty and prepared individually so they kept their unique tastes and textures. They were not just thrown into the pot to all become mush. It was a wonderful example of a classic ramen bowl.

The bento was also great. Again, nice sized portions and several options to build your own box. The katsu was very good. Superb, crispy exterior. Delicious moist meat. The dipping sauce was phenomenal. It almost seemed like a mix of BBQ and sweet & sour sauces. It was excellent.

Great Miso soup. Great edamame. Great all around. Could not be happier with my visit.

They were even nice about my Service Dog.

Big shout out to Brent for his friendly, attentive, and professional service. He made us feel welcome, answered questions, gave suggestions, and was happy to help.

Again, I would highly recommend this restaurant. If you are looking for savory, spicy, or sweet, they have...

I convinced my boyfriend to try Ijji3 because I had been to the original Ijji location many times and loved it. Unfortunately the service was horrible. Our waitress was not attentive and seemed to have been irritated with us after we switched out the highchair we were given because the buckle was broken ( the 2nd highchair we got, the buckle was also broken). When she brought out our first order (we both had all you can eat), she read over our list and implied that all of our rolls were there, which they weren't. So, we asked the other waitress to please check and also asked her for the iced tea I ordered and didn't receive. After we placed our 2nd order, half of the order showed up about 25 minutes later (no baked or fried rolls). I asked our waitress for our check and let her know that we had 2 rolls that we had ordered that we were not going to be able to wait for. (We were there for over an hour and a half and our baby was starting to get a little fussy). She went to get our check and ended up ringing up 2 other people before bringing our check back. I don't know if they were short handed or if she was just having a rough day. I left a tip anyways even though I felt like I...
