Second Update: Yay. Changed rating to 4 stars. Music still bad though it didn't seem quite as loud.

Update: returned a few weeks later to see if they learned. They had not. I was met with the same confusion when I again ordered the popcorn chicken combo. The clerk insisted the combo couldn't happen with a small order of popcorn chicken, just the large. I pointed to the window ad yet again, where it states a "$5.99 popcorn chicken combo." Whatever that is, I want it! Is this item not ordered much or what? The clerk apparently finally found the right button on the register, and I was able to get the combo. The food was good.

Original post: They got the order wrong and acted like it was my fault. I clearly said I wanted the $5.99 popcorn chicken combo, as shown on the promo on the window. It comes with a beverage and curly fries. The clerk seemed confused when I ordered this. I kept pointing to the window ad. Clerk acted like he was unaware of this deal. When I picked up order at the counter, sans cup and fries, I said it was supposed to be a combo. I pointed to the window yet again. A second clerk showed up and they both acted like I made a mistake, and "explained" to me that I had ordered just the popcorn chicken and that the combo costs more. As if I had given the order wrong and was too stupid to understand this fact. I didn't like their attitude at all. I had told the clerk I wanted the combo . It was the clerk who entered a popcorn chicken only. How hard can it be to ring up "popcorn chicken COMBO" ??

Also, the music here is awful and...

At around 4:30 PM today, I ordered 3 boxes of Spring Rolls costing $5+ each box of 3 pcs. A lady took my order, I waited for 5-7 minutes and the boy staff called that Spring Roll is ready, there were only two of us inside the store waiting, so the other guy ordered a different one, I went to the counter and grab my order and request for extra sauce. I didn’t check my order. I just live close to the area, so when I arrived home, I noticed there are only 2 boxes of Spring Roll. So, I immediately went back to the store. The lady I talked to was sounding very doubtful, and her face was like she did not believe me. 😂 She asked that guy who handed me the food, they talked in Spanish which I can understand. The guy is a liar, he told them he gave me tres (3) boxes. Anyway, I just waited for them to give me the other box. This lady not even telling me to wait and that they will be going to replace it, I just assumed. She was looking at me blankly. Few minutes later, announced that it’s already ready. Still the eyes of the lady were very doubtful 🤨.. I thanked her before leaving. But, something is missing along the line. I never received any act and gesture of simple APOLOGY from them. When I was in my car, I can still see that lady looking at me. I felt very uncomfortable. It’s a very unfriendly stare. 😂 I will not go back again to this place it’s my first and last....

They work when they want too. They are closed a lot. Food has changed, not as good as it was before COVID-19. I’ve worked the whole time during Covid-19, and the people at this restaurant needs to be retrained on people and food skills. I love Jack in the Box, and now I travel miles away from my home to order food because the Damonte ranch store does not care and want to serve good foods to the locals that’s been there for years. There closed to much. I’ve read the reviews for this location, and you have an excuse for everything. COVID-19 is bad yes, but you can run a business open and carefully if you do it with the right people. I think you all forgot that you serve the people, not yourselves. Let’s get this location back on track. A lot of people need jobs, there should be no problem in hiring unless your management does not do there job.Please get new managers and staff that cares!!!! I been waiting 15 months to walk in and order food with a mask. Please get your act together, we want Jack in the Box in our area. If you don’t get the heck of the area, and let a hamburger joint move in that cares for the local, even during COVID-19. COVID-19 is going to be around for awhile and we need to work with it as much...
