OBSESSED doesn’t even begin to cover how much I love shopping at Esme & Elodie!! As a curvalicious beauty who has a hard time finding standard size clothing that fits right and plus size clothing that actually looks cute, Esme & Elodie is a gift from the universe. Everything in the store is perfectly curated, including bold & bright patterns, trendy size-inclusive styles, and other closet staples/essentials. It’s a blast to spend time there, especially if Marlene is working because she will be your own personal stylist & biggest cheerleader. She got the razzle, you bring the dazzle baby!

Just beware that you’ll be throwing down your credit card quicker than you can say “Do you have this in a size [insert your size here]?” Hundreds of dollars and a whole confidence boost later, you’ll be walking down the streets of the cutest little downtown area in Renton ready for some necks to snap at how gorgeous you look. I’m telling you, only go if you’re ready to feel like a WHOLE NEW CONFIDENT PERSON!

I stumbled upon Esme and Elodie while visiting Seattle, hoping to find a last minute outfit for a wedding the next weekend. I found more than just the perfect dress (I found 3 of them to be exact); I found one of the most inclusive and welcoming stores I've ever been to.

As a plus sized woman, I'm used to feeling left out when im out shopping with friends. Many times, I have limited options that just don't flatter my body or have to squeeze into something that I don't feel comfortable in. At esme and elodie, I'm given the full barbie experience, trying on the most gorgeous, vibrant prints. This is something that I wish I had growing up; a store that allowed young girls to embrace their bodies instead of hiding it in frumpy clothes.

I've gotten so many compliments on the dresses that I picked up that I get slightly disappointed when I don't get a compliment lol. If you're plus size and looking to find a boho style outfit that is a straight up dope of anthropology and farm rio, this...

Esme and Elodie has been on my "to visit" list for an embarrassing amount of time and I finally got to stop by yesterday. What I loved about this store is that the clothing in both the plus size and "regular" sizing sections were the same- so many stores with a plus size section have the cute and colorful clothing for the regular sizing, but their plus size selection has such dowdy and ugly clothing; that's very much not the case here. Everything is colorful, comfy, and priced reasonably. On top of that- Marlene was (and is) an absolute pleasure to talk to, and damn she knows everything in the store well! She was quick to point out things such as "this manufacturer runs a little big so lets try that on in a size smaller" and picking out colors I wouldn't have tried on myself that I absolutely loved.
