The Local 907 — Restaurant in Renton

Me and a group of girlfriends wanted to go out for some drinks to celebrate my birthday and the whole event at this place was just very unprofessional and disheartening. We sat down and the first waitress was very rude, not making eye contact or looking at us but looking at the floor, seemed annoyed at our presence, and was short and snippy. Whatever I thought but WRONG! We were a group of 4 girls and 2 of us were cut off when we weren't intoxicated in the smallest amount! I had only had 1.5 drinks and my friend who was also cut off had only had 1 drink. One other girl in our group had one drink as well and the last one only had water. How we found out we were cut off? Someone who wanted to buy us a shot was told we were cut off! They hadn't said anything to us at all about this and at first we thought the guy was lying but as the 2 other girls went to get one last drink before we left the bartender told my one friend her and I were cut off but served our other friend. We were not intoxicated, we were very sober, and we had been respectful to the establishment just talking and eating. This was very embarrassing for us to be told we had been cut off in front of others and had a stranger be told before letting us know or even explain why! Definitely not recommending this place to anyone unless they want to be cut off after 1 or 2 drinks AT A BAR!! Looking at the reviews this is not an uncommon trend of this happening and it jist ruined our fun for the night. If the staff had told us we were cut off (not telling strangers before letting us know) and WHY we were cut off I feel it could have been cleared up for miscommunication but no. Tbh they just need new staff in general if they want to keep business.

Edit to add: it's been a while as life got busy but I wanted to add I had tried to contact a manager or anyone in charge 3 or 4 times each time being told no manager was on duty and told to call back on X,Y,Z day and they would be in and I would call and be told no one could help me. Clearly management is not willing to work with customers or anything. I have already gotten several people to know of the service here and will not be going to this...

I went In earlier that day and it was a more calm environment seemed nice go have a beer and maybe a lunch. I was served a beer by a woman who wore glasses i was also carded of course. My husband was waiting outside because he somehow misplaced his ID so we didnt have lunch and i left the woman who served me was very nice. . I went back in the evening to see what the environment was like and to play some pool. Maybe have 1 beer and some water following. Not only was i not carded, I was also told I would not be served. I tried to get the bar tenders attention until I felt like maybe she couldn't hear me. So I lightly and politely tapped Brooklyn on the shoulder since her back was too me and she was being very inappropriately spoken to by a male customer. I said to her I would like to buy a drink and possibly open a tab. I didnt care for how those people were talking to you. She told me of those guys they're cool,, so actually it seemed she welcomed the harassing comments.. she then told me to hold on and went behind the bar. I walked away to the table i was playing pool at. She never came back to tell me that the tenders made a choice to not serve me. When I never bought anything there that night. aside from putting money into the juke box and money to play pool. I was not even served water like I wanted. The night staff is horrible. Especially since they did not even check my ID to get in like the woman did earlier that day which made us leave because my husband did not have his. Reading recent reviews, I can see that my experience is not unique lately. Visited for the first time last night because they were rated pretty highly. I will start with the good part: the food was GREAT and the happy hour, which is 7 days a week 4-7pm, has some really good deals on food and drinks. The portions are generous, especially for happy hour and it all tasted amazing!

Now for the bad part and the reason I’ll probably not go back: our waitress was AWFUL to us. Firstly, she didn’t even let us know she’d be with us soon when we had been sitting there for at least 10 minutes - we didn’t think too much of it because it was busy and it was Friday evening during happy hour, so kind of expected there to be some waiting, which was not a problem at all. When she finally came to our table, she tossed menus on down without a single word, seemed extremely annoyed that we were even there and at one point actually rolled her eyes when she thought we wouldn’t see it. We didn’t make any special requests or ask any questions, we were literally just ordering off of the menu. When she brought food out, she gave each of us the wrong plate (again, no biggie, my group has worked in food service before so we get it) and didn’t say a word. She eventually just stopped even coming to our table and someone else took over and he was great, but it really was probably the worst experience I’ve had with any server ever.
