Gone.com was referred to me by neighbor, who said nothing but great things, so I decided myself to check them out! From the ease of the website, navigation, business acumen; to uploading pictures of the items I wanted to donate, not to mention the many, many options for scheduling; days and times, my overall experience was stellar! It was quite easy to submit a request for pickup and a date that worked best for my schedule. Jacob was quick in his correspondence and prompt with regard to any changes in my appointment or their arrival. Jacob and his team of two were superb! I had heavy exercise equipment, an armoire and quite a few pieces of furniture that were not only heavy, but also on the 2nd floor, 1st floor and in my garage! Jacob and his team (2) were meticulously neat, displayed care with moving items out of my home and transportation of the items their truck. The communication between all three was professional and kind. I am grateful to such a wonderful company with an amazing vision to recycle items at an affordable price. I highly, highly recommend gone.com! There was no cost to me for their time and hard work, which felt odd since everyone these days charges a lot! So, with that said, donât forget to tip this team! Jacob and his team of two time were at my house about an hour - and they left it spotless and it looks amazing and clutter free! I will most definitely bring using gone.com in the...
Read moreI loved my experience with Gone Stores! I have a 15 year+ history thrifting and trying my best to save things from the landfill, so I was pleasantly surprised to discover that Gone Stores combines the both of these, saving high quality furniture of a variety of styles, from estate sales and regular donation. Enjoy shopping on OfferUp and fb marketplace, but frustrated by juggling the logistics or navigating the platform? Like shopping at the GoodWill, but need more selection? Need delivery? Gone Stores is joining the scene, gets new inventory every day, and imo does it better. The virtual space and the in person shopping experience had just the styles of furniture I was looking for in one easy spot, after weeks of trying to buy rescued pieces individually online. Everyone there was very pleasant and believed in what they were doing. Not even being paid to say this- I just believe in what theyâre doing too. Started by the founders of OfferUp and only a few months old- Get ahead of the curve! Check out...
Read moreBought item from their posting online.. Plenty of pictures of item, but coincidentally No picture or word that the item was completely missing the back panel (& therefore completely wobbly and unstable), - and then covered in spider webs.
Idk, I think anyone would be pretty upset about this - I mean, hypothetically speaking, If I were selling to you you - let's just say: a box - but the box missing the entire back side of the box, but I didn't mention it to you and then took a ton of pictures of said item but only in certain angles to deliberately hide the fact that it was missing that entire back side - and then you only found this out AFTER you had already paid for item, drove the distance to Pick it up, and then to have item thrown to you for you to carry as you were rushed out the door. (and then setting it down in car only to the realize the item was covered in spiderweb and dog hair, etc.)
Just be weary, a little shady, and too much of a cheap cash...
