My husband and I went in for the first time ever today to gather some flowers for a friend and her sudden loss of family... It was very important to us. The first round of ladies at the 3 o clock hour were outstanding. We were taken care of quickly and with such respect! Their service was an absolute 5 star!! ⭐

However, we returned as we promised we would. I wanted to make my own small arrangement for my home. My husband was to pick out an assortment and I was to pick out my own. We could not have been more specific as to our wants. The first thing I was asked upon arriving was, "how much would you like to spend?". I replied with an amount and was told, you don't need to spend that much. I brushed it off as that comment could have gone either way. I than explained what we were wanting to do. We wanted to create our own unique displays! What we got was an antire arrangement of anything but what we had asked. Not even close to what we wanted. They were both the same... And we were given only two options. Money wasn't an issue we just wanted to treat ourselves and our home. The woman than became irritated clearly, and so I had to re explain what we wanted which made us feel so so uncomfortable. We had to have her start all over and even than, she didn't give us what we envisioned. Might I add that my husband wanted his made for him, again price adjustment being no issue, and I was going to take my arrangement home to put together on my own. We were given two options on vases, two different styles and colors only... So we picked what was available as we had no other choice. I felt like a toddler. My babies were with us and that was the only thing keeping me and my postpartum calm. She didn't help my husband with his arrangement and didn't listen nor give us what we had asked. The only thing she got right was two of the flowers we liked... We had no options on what we could pick from... She was asking a lot of personal questions about our home life, my job and income... Things that were inappropriate for customer employee conversation. I continued to bring her questions back towards the babies as we were appalled by the entire situation. We WILL NOT be going back, we will drive to Springfield if needed... And for this being technically our second visit (twice in one day) I just cannot understand how a business can be run by people whose job is to allow the customer to create a vision, and than give them anything but that. Not to mention the questions... The first two ladies are amazing. Blessings to you guys! I hate leaving nasty reviews but I am way too uncomfortable to want...

This is an amazing place! Marlene is a very special and amazing woman who God has used to impact my life (and all of the people working here are great too). When I found out she had a flower shop, I found that really beautiful and always wanted to visit here. Months later, my wife came to America and we were having a wedding to start our lifetime together as one in marriage. My wife and I wanted flowers for the wedding and we both only wanted to have flowers from this store. I mean, once you know Marlene, you realize what a remarkable person she is! Marlene and the workers here helped us select what would be best and were incredibly gracious and loving, and we felt so much kindness radiating from Marlene. She really was and is a Heaven's Scent (2 Corinthians 2:14-15) and my wife and I - now joyfully married for over a year - will never forget her, nor our experience.

And the flowers? Oh yes! Absolutely stunning and presented with great appeal! They really popped color into our wedding and we will never forget the beauty of what God created and what Heaven's Scent arranged. Very wonderful and generous and unforgettable experience with them. Actually, the best way to express the Heaven's Scent experience and the incredible work that they do is this: Sometime, when you are in Republic, pull over and come inside Heaven's Scent. Immediately when you come in the door, you will see beautiful flowers + other plants all over the place in a wonderland of color and freshness and sweet aromas and radiance and creativity and kindness all in that place. Would not recommend. My wife and I stopped in back in around July to talk to the lady here and give her an idea as to what we were looking for for a wedding bouquet and such. She gave pricing and told us to come back in around October to give final details and such, for our wedding was in December. At the October meeting, my then-fiancé gave her a detailed folder showing photos of similar bouquet shapes as well as the flowers and greenery that she wanted. We requested one the was very wide across the front of my bride. She said she could do that and that it would be around 20ish pounds and would have a hidden handle so it could be held. My bride also specifically said, at least twice, she did not want baby’s breath at all. She also said that she only wants little bouquets for the bridesmaids. I watched the lady write all this down. Come wedding day, my bride and her mother picked up the flowers and found that there is no handle, every bouquet is full of baby’s breathe, and instead of a large, broad bouquet, the lady made a small round one. Only slightly larger then the bridesmaids ones. All in all, absolutely nothing like what we requested and paid for, rushed them out the door and wouldn’t give them the time of day to address the concerns they had.
