I'll give them a slight break here as we walked in at 7:40 and the close at 8. But once we got in there was one group ahead of us. There were 3 people behind the counter and 1 of them assisting customers. The other 2, I'm guessing here, because I honestly don't know, but may have been working on closing chores. But last time I checked, if a customer is in your store, they are the priority. But hey maybe not. We were also informed that due to it being near closing time that they may not be able to make certain things. So I guess if your store closes at 8 then we should not be able to order whatever we want up until that point? So then after my family orders and I'm ready to pay, I'm informed that the one lobby facing register isn't open, so they have to take my credit card around the corner and do I know what everyone in my party ordered. Nope, no I don't. Sorry, but thats on you to remember, not me. Then the proceed to ask everyone to leave because they have to close. I mean it likely would have taken a whole 5-10 minutes for everyone to finish their ice cream.
So a couple of suggestions. 1. If there's 3 employees in the store have all of them assisting customers. 2. Have the lobby register open, if the store is open. 3. Have some simple, old fashioned courtesy.
I don't think that's too much to ask. Needless to say, I won't be going back...
Read moreI went in tonight to celebrate my niece getting her first job. We stood there at least 10 minutes while neither employee acknowledged our presence. No one expects them to drop everything but at least say, "hi, it'll just be a moment" or something. Then I couldn't decide between two flavors. They no longer give free samples which is disappointing but they had a sale on the front of the coolers, "get a double or triple scoop and get a free waffle cone" (not exact wording because I don't remember it). I figure this will work. I'll get one of each and a waffle cone. Apparently they didn't have any waffle cones either. Asked niece if she still wanted to order there. She decided we should go somewhere else.
Over all poor customer service. No wonder it was empty.
Next time we'll go to the one in Branson.
And the niece chose Hurts Donuts, great...
Read moreI went here with some family and as soon as we walked in, there was a man cleaning the area, and he gave us a nasty look. He just sat down as in we were invading his mopping time or something and was glaring at us the whole time we were in there. We started looking at the ice creams and they only had about 10-12 flavors. Somebody had told me they used to have 31 flavors. Very disappointing experience... But even the woman who was working to take our order, was all tired and did NOT look pleased to see us. We only received a vErY small amount of ice cream in our single scoop cups and it was just overall disappointing. The total came to about 7 dollars for just two scoops of ice cream.. Once we left, we agreed that we should have just turned around and left the moment...
