Goodwill Southern California Store & Donation Center — Local services in Rialto

Ridiculously overpriced for no reason, especially home and kitchen items. If you’re lucky, some things are reasonable. Went for DVDs specifically this time and they were all around $4. Pricey since majority of their movie selection you can get new for around 5 bucks. Goodwill has been pricing too high lately.

I made the mistake of buying a shelving system here. They put stuff out that doesn’t come with all the parts, rendering the product unusable. They need to double check the items they put out to sell. Also cuz they don’t have a return option. I just lost money. I gotta toss it all out. What a waste.

Update: I went back yesterday to give it another chance, but those prices! Still ridiculous! Thrift stores are there for people who can’t afford retail prices, but now they’re charging way over retail. For example, they had a $10 mug, $15 wine glass, $6 empty Trader Joe’s bottle, & way more like that. It’s a not-for-profit, so I don’t understand the ridiculous price hike. My mom used to shop at goodwills when we were kids because it was what she could afford, but now, idk how anyone struggling could...

The manager in training needs a class in customer and kindness she is very rude and unhelpful in location of items. Ask to speak to another manager and she was not helpful at all. Donated items in the back the two lady's who took my items were rude and threw to the side like it was trash there were nice glass items inside heard them break items ask to speak to manger and the girls said they weren't not in store. They asked for name and number for manger to call regarding complaint never heard back. notice employee smoking in back of store as I pulled up to donate. store is messy and employees stand around look like their busy. Cashiers have no manners, attitude, and rush to get you out. Male employees hit on customers. Volunteers are no help just point where to find item or say don't know ask an employees when do the employees states we don't have item in store can call another store. WHAT HAPPENED TO CUSTOMERS ARE ALWAYS RIGHT!!!!!!! I will no longer spend my money where I feel unwanted salvation army treats their customer...

This is a pretty decent goodwill. This isn't a name brand store so I don't know why people are leaving reviews like they are shopping at Walmart and expect premium items. I've brought goods and donated goods to this location. And it has been a pleasurable experience every time. The staff is extremely friendly and will help you out if they can. I advise for anyone coming to this location to call before they arrive because donations are coming in high volumes and they might not have room to take your donations so don't waste your gas call first. Let them know what you have if you're going to make a donation to make sure they can accommodate you. But other than that we all know what Goodwill is. In a sense you get what you give. I recommend anyone shopping for young kids to check out this location. Additionally the donations are located in the back of the building call them if you cannot find the donation...
