I would like to let people know a few things before coming into the store...
The staff doesn't care how long you have been coming to the store and who you know just get what you are gonna get and leave.
Don't come in with a hair color that you know they don't have and act surprised when they say they don't have your color.
Nobody in there has time to be following you around the store, so when you think someone is following you please think again.
Stand where it says "Line Here"!
There are signs all over the wig section that say " You must Buy a wig cap to try on wigs" "You cannot try on Lace Fronts" & also " The wig cap is a dollar" so please don't get offended when they tell you this.
They Don't care if Bobo's let's you try on lace fronts... This is not Bobo's if you want to try on lace fronts go there.
There is no Bathroom.
The wig's are not called "futura" or "that one" so please read the Colorful name at the bottom of the wig.
Do not come in there on the phone talking loud not only is it rude to other customers but it is also rude to you the staff. Take it outside.
Don't get mad at the staff for following rules if they say they can't do something there is 100% chance the manager won't be able to help you.
You cannot bring outside food or drink , bags or backpacks inside store. If you must bring it in they will ask you to leave it up front.
Don't run fingers through the curls of the wigs or human hair!
Stop walking to the wig section to ask a question about weave hair it is right in the front.
If you see that they are helping another customer don't come asking them questions it is rude and distracting.
Don't wait till the last minute to come!! The wig and ponytail section close at 7:10 the store colose at 7:30 they stop letting customers in by 7:26.
Thank you for reading this has been my little guide to the store they have good products and braiding hair sometimes the prices...
Read moreSo my 70 y/o Mother got a quote for a $20 haircut, a week prior to me taking her in to the TIGI hair salon this past Saturday. Early that Saturday I made her an appointment as soon as they opened and very helpful the young lady squeezed my Mother into her schedule. As we came into the salon, the young lady greeted us, my Mother picked a simple haircut "her hair is very short" and all was going well up untill she began cutting my Mothers hair. The young lady seemed very stern in her communication with my Mother and I. I translated as my Mom understands and speaks very little english. When she was done cutting her hair, she asked if my Mother wanted her hair washed, my Mother said no, I told the young lady "NO" that my Mother had just washed it. The young lady argued that "the hair wash" would help the back (2 in. hair) lay down how it should on her head, we told her no. It got to the point where she made it seem like she had to wash it, without mentioning it's an extra charge. Anyway, my Mother upset got up and said if she had to then "O.K"! Welp....she washed her hair put some Mousse on it and charged her $35 when she could have used a spray bottle to wet her hair as her hair was very short and oh so manageable. We will not be coming back, we felt uncomfortable with her type of sterness and lack of friendly customer service...
Read moreI actually love this place...I started working here when I first graduated highschool, and one thing I loved was that they were really about satisfying there customers, and making sure there employees were happy, They did alot of things to show there appreciation for employees and customers that they care. There have been times when I had to deal with irrate customers who wanted it there way no matter what and no matter the policies that were placed all around the store. The owners still even handled those situations calmly and professionally. I still go there till this day because I enjoy the customer service. I have experienced some employees in the past who maybe werenât as knowledgeable, but when I first started there all I knew was 1 and 1b and 2 and 4. That job built me up as a people person, gave me great customer service skills, and sales skills. It gave me the ability to handle any situation but in a professional matter. I loved working there and being able to guess the hair the customer had it. Or if we were out of stock to get something similar. I loved when it was a busy day and there were sooo many customers and the trick was to help as many as you could. That place molded me to who I am today, Thatâs one job that I wouldnât hesitate to...
