Wow!! I wasn't expecting that, but thank God for the Wonderful experience at Colorful Canvas Art in Olympia Fields today. It was my first time. However, I can't imagine it being any better. From the moment I walked in, the friendly, helpful, experienced instructor Staci to enjoying this unique event with my Sisters "the Shades of Chocolate book club"... Awesome!! Awesome!! AWESOME!! Yes, I will do this again and again, sharing my experience with family and friends. I love that this company does in-home/travel parties, as well as in the studio and private parties. Tons of Fun, laughter, enjoyable music and mostly our outstanding instructor, Staci! She was so flexible, reassured us we could do it. She was so patient. The staff arrived in a timely manner as well as set up. They even assisted me with some of my setup. They prepared a customized pallette for each of my 70 plus participant as well as assisted patiently whenever anyone needed help. The instructor provided step-by-step instructions from the type of brush to use, how to clean each brush, and what type of strokes to use for each section of the painting. An excellent teacher teaches as well as model and that is exactly what was done.

I must admit when I started painting, I was a little frustrated with myself because this was a little challenging for me and out of my comfort zone.
