Worst Service Ever - Manager must have been off - upon entry - 3 ladies chatting it up at the Take Out Station - yet we had to wait for 5 minutes to be seated in a very uncrowded dining room - by a Waiter - at an unset table. Placed our Drink & Appetizer Order - Drinks ( 2 Root Beers ) arrived - about 10 minutes later - Appetizers - still NO Silverware - had to ask a passing by Waitress for Silverware because our Waiter was busy at another table w/ his LGBT peeps. Food finally arrived like 20 minutes later. This was on a Tuesday I believe - the Prep Work for the Broccoli must've been done the previous Friday - it should have been 86ed on Sunday or at least re-trimmed & put into a Cheddar Soup. No melted Butter served for the Lobster or Scallops. The Crab Alfredo was made w/ some old Lobster because the shell bits in it was Lobster & not Crab. After 25 years of living in New England believe me - I know the difference. After finally becoming so disgusted w/ it all - we asked for the Doggy Bag - the leftover Snow Crab Legs, Steak, Lobster, & Bay Biscuits were worth taking home. After 10 minutes - we get our Take Home Boxes & ask for the Check. Another 15 minutes we get the " Would like some Dessert " Pitch & then the Check. The was like $98 & some change - this was our second Bad Experience at the Matteson IL Red Lobster. The was poor Service & Hair in the Food. I reluctantly Tipped the Staff by paying the Check to a total of $133. Sadly, after waiting like 10 more minutes just to pay our Check, we had to walk over to the Kitchen Entrance & catch our Waiter as he came out to hand him the Check, get a bag for our Boxes, & tell him it was all set. This Facility should go to the Bradley IL Facility & learn how to operate & treat their Clients. Sorry Matteson, but you guys suck, never again, we will go to Bradley the next time. Read moreI went to eat a late dinner meal and have a drink. I went to the bar the bar had open seats but there was no where to sit because th ebar was full of dirty dishes. I waited, after ten minutes of standing there and the one bartender looked at me a few times but never acknowledged me. So I went to get the manager and I told her about my experience so far. She walked over to the bar with me and called a girl and the bartender who ignored me she said this gentleman has been waiting and please take care of him, then she walked away. Five minutes later I was still standing and the manager came back overand said to me have they greeted you yet I said no, she looked at the young lady and she said I was busy I will be done soon. I said the the young lady I have managed a few businesses before and a couple have been restaurants and you would not be able to work for me with that attitude. The manager said to me don't talk to my staff like that you don't have to berate them I already talked to them. I said evidently it did no good and furthermore I am the customer and I have every right to bring up their poor customer service skills. Then she said I don't want you to talk to them I said not to worry I will never spend a dime in here I will take my business elsewhere and I left.I live very close to this place I can walk there in five minutes. I have talked to my neighbors about this and two of them said that's why they don't eat there. If they treat customers like that regularly they don't deserve any business. I will never eat there of refer anyone there. Staff is only as good as their managers allow them. If you allow them to treat customers like crap they will. Stay away from this place. Read moreThere was a line backed up to the front doors, with people waiting to be seated and to pick up to go orders. I ordered online and the food was suppose to be ready by 7:21pm. I waited in a line to pick up my order. Once I was at the window I paid and was told to step aside so they can take other orders. I waited next to a man who said he'd been waiting for over 40 minutes and he ordered online. I started to regret paying first. I continued to wait, once I reached over 40 minutes, I realized people who came after me were getting their orders and leaving, I asked to talk to the manager for a refund. The female manager said okay. As I was waiting for my refund, I was given my order. I wanted to check it and the waiter didn't want to help me. Once the manager came back, she handed me a receipt and said the register was closed out, to allow 5-7 days for my refund to show up in my account. I turned to leave and the manager says take your food. I said take it, she said yes, it's yours. The manager then says she still has to get my scallops. By that time I had enough, I left. I will never return to this Red Lobster again. The service was terrible and the manager lied to me. I find it hard to believe I'll be getting a refund. I paid with my credit card, she didn't need it for the refund and she still wanted me to take the food. Once I got home my both my orders were incorrect, they had added items, missing items and the food wasn't prepared like I asked. Poor customer service and the worst online ordering I ever...
