Perros Bros was great, just like it always is. There is not much you can ask for that they don't have or cannot prepare. Their food is fresh and delicious. The atmosphere is joyful. Everyone is smiling and seeming to be in good moods. I didn't know what I wanted to eat when we walked in. I just knew I wanted it from Perros'. After we looked at the menu I decided on a #10 Reuben. But it didn't look like it had enough meat for me. But the regular #12 Corned Beef looked like it had more meat, so I changed my selection to the #12. But the cashier said he could give me more meat, I thought, on the #10 for $3.00 more. So I said, "Ok." When we got our order my sandwich was amazing. But it did not have the Sauer kraut and cheese on it. So I took it to the counter and asked what happen to those items. They put them on even though he had changed my order to the #12 instead of the #10. I mistake I did not clear up while I was ordering. To switch back to the #10. Anyway, It was so much I could eat only half. And it was oh so DELICIOUS. So you see, we can only speak good, no, great about them. Oh yeah, their Gyros is out of this world, too. Stop in and give them a try. And enjoy the smiles and laughs while you place your order. Just...
Read moreFor a small food spot this place has the widest and largest different menu options which I think is a good thing because there are a lot of foods to try. This is the first spot I saw while looking for a place to eat that really took my interest. It has a limited parking and I was really thankful that there is still a spot available when I went in here. As I said, it is small and there are also limited tables inside which I think is enough based from the size of the place. At first, I really thought that they only have gyros and other Greek food based from their name but I was surprised to know and to see their menu which has a lot of different options including burgers, sandwiches and the likes. I just order a gyro plate and a drink. Service is kind of slow and it needs a good patience waiting for the food. The gyros plate of them has a huge portion, the meat is perfect when it comes to the flavor and texture, it has two pitas which is I do not know but I did not really like their pita, and it also comes with fresh fries that are crispy and well-seasoned. It was a good one and I definitely enjoyed the food and I might...
Read moreEver since coming to Olympia Fields, there's not been many fast food places that struck me as worth the price. I outright refuse to eat at McDonalds, and often my price budget limits me to smaller meals thus leaving options for food outside of the grocery store limited. Enter Perros. While their food is a little greasy (Well, okay very greasy) and the service can be confusing now and again, normally I never have any issues with the place, and my food is always piping hot and fresh. That, and their chicken strips are to utterly die for. Mmph. Now and again I do happen to get a steak sandwich with slightly soggy bread, that fault is mostly my own as the drive back normally allows the steam and green pepper sauce to soak into the bread. Coupled with the wrap it's in, it steams itself well after leaving the grill. This is a minor inconvenience, as the food is still the best in the local area. I would certainly recommend it to anyone in the Olympian Fields area. and friends from out of state. And I plan to give them my continued service well...
