if you are considering using this company I would urge you against it. A week ago we had our pest guy come inspect under our house because something had clearly dug a hole and was living under our house coming and going. We set a humane trap and 7 days later we found a skunk in the trap. We called another service and were quoted $300. We were the referred to the city of dallas as they provide this service for free. They told us they were able to come at 6:30 PM to remove the skunk. The city of dallas contracts with 911 wildlife. Well, at 4:30 PM we received a knock on the door from a 911 wildlife worker. He told my husband that he had released the skunk. My husband clarified and asked if he had released it elsewhere and he responded "No I just opened the trap where it was". He also informed us we now had an additional hole dug under our house. He released the skunk to immediately dig a new hole and climb under our house. THEN he proceeded to recommend we call 911 wildlife to receive a quote on how much their services would be to REMOVE THE SKUNK THAT HE JUST LET BACK UNDER OUR HOUSE.
If he had had the decency and professionalism to let us know he was on our property before he performed an unwanted service, we would have been able to stop him. However, he just came onto our property and did a job we DID NOT WANT and then offered for us to pay them to come back and do the job he did not do in the first place.
I am in disbelief! We are back at square one despite our efforts and money we have already paid to remedy this problem.
There are plenty of other helpful pest removal services. I would definitely take your business elsewhere if you would like the job accomplished.
I did hear back from the owners and they were very apologetic. Their employee broke protocol by not calling to say he was on his way, not coming to the door to tell us he arrived, and not explaining the service before he performed it. TO BE CLEAR they DO NOT remove or relocate skunks. So don't be fooled by their website saying "skunk removal". They employ tactics that make the skunk want to leave? and a one way door so it can exit but not reenter. (although after they released it before it just immediately dug another hole under our house... so who knows how these tactics would actually play out? or how many one way doors would need to be installed to really get rid of the problem?) I also am unsure what this "remedy at no cost to you" was that the owner mentioned in his google reply. It seems it was more for the benefit of himself and whoever were to read my review than actually for us. After my call with them we were then sent a quote for $250 for "skunk services" $150 for the one way door. and $1080 to reinforce the side of our house with an L bracket. We have chosen not to spend $1480 to coax a skunk out of our house. We have since trapped him again and called the cheaper service that actually does relocate skunks. I would just clarify the service you are getting before you use 911 wildlife.
EDIT AGAIN
After receiving the quote for skunk services and then editing my first review, the owners edited their initial google response to exclude the quote I took directly from their first response about a "remedy at no cost to you" So take from that what you will. Just felt it needed to be shared as it all reflects the poor service and confusing or untrue things I have experienced from them directly or on...
Read moreI contacted 911 WildLife to assist me with concerns I had squirrels nesting in my attic and could be causing significant damage. I chose 911 WildLife because they advertised they captured and relocated the squirrels and fortified your house from further entry. My technician was Joey. She was thorough and made sure I understood my options. She did not find any significant signs of entry to my attic, however when she proceeded to inspect the eves for possible entry points, one had been sufficiently chewed through to allow entry. But instead of automatically assuming entry had been made and charging me for a catch and release trap, she put ip a trap per se to determine if the attic had been compromised. After several hours, it had not been disturbed, so she was able to secure the hole. She was efficient! She didn’t do anything that she didn’t explain to me what or why she was doing it. She stayed within the boundaries of her quote. She treated me and my house as if it were hers making sure she left it in better condition then how she found it. It was not an easy task for her. She had to be a contortionist to deal with several of the eves on my house, all during this ridiculous heat and humidity we are having. I’m so thankful for her patience and persistence in getting this done in the period of time and weather conditions we were having. AND, the finished job was...
Read moreOn 3-5-25 I left a message with 911 Wildlife, received a courteous callback from Teresa within 10 minutes, & was very happy to hear that we had an appt. with wildlife technician, Rob, in a couple hours! He arrived promptly & got to work trying to locate a squirrel that was running around in the fireplace void between our chimney flue & the sheetrock for almost a week. (We had hoped the squirrel could find a way out, but it became obvious it couldn't escape & I was worried, so for several days, I dribbled water & pushed almonds through a small hole in the sheetrock, hoping it would sustain the squirrel long enough so it could be rescued.) Rob worked diligently for many hours trying to get his hands on it; due to the size of the void, hiding places & the constant evasive moves of the squirrel, which would hide, hunker down out of reach, etc., this was quite a challenge. (Thankfully, Rob also made a strong metal collar & attached it to our chimney cap, since there was a gap around it.) He set up a humane trap at one of the holes he'd cut through the sheetrock, & the next day, we were ecstatic & relieved when the little critter entered the trap & was successfully, humanely caught, ready for release. We are very happy with the quick response and with how very...
