My family and another family joined each other for a good hour and a half of fun and games. We were lucky enough to get Niall (from Scotland) for our host and guide for our axe throwing excursion of fun. He was patient, paid attention to each person’s technique and made sure that all of us threw the axe successfully. Hitting that target and getting the axe to stick in the board for the first time sends a shock of adrenaline that cannot be described. Our host was constantly encouraging and critiquing our throws while walking us through several games of competition. You would think the most athletic of us would do the best but that was not the case. We went to a go carting place the day before and spent the same amount of money for 10 minutes of fun. Axe throwing allowed us to spend time together for a much longer time and everyone really enjoyed themselves. Definitely a good experience for the money. If you are in the Allen Texas area and have the opportunity, I would strongly recommend Class Axe Throwing for your axe throwing pleasure. You...

Planned a party for a Saturday with both Axe Throwing and Great Escape Room (both located in the same building) our host (Nick, I believe) he was great. The teaching, guidance, and overall experience came together very well. We were late (get a big group and it is bound to happen), so I was worried we wouldn't get to experience everything that is planned but our guy Nick lead the whole function so well that by the time we getting into it I didn't even keep track of time. I brought a couple of 6-packs and Nick was helpful enough to make sure our table was clean from empty bottles and mess.

The Great Room Escape was also phenomenal. It is a different experience, but one I cherish. The set up had our host INSIDE with us acting. His acting was great for what it was, to best describe it picture a video game. Wherein the game helps you achieve your goal in a subtle way when you are clearly stuck. The puzzle was great fun.

Final note, bring cash if you like to tip people! They...

Great place for a fun time. This was my first time axe throwing. Came here for a successful birthday stop for a buddy. Our instructor Sabrina was friendly, fun, and helpful. Not only gave us good safety guidelines but helped us with our throwing technique throughout the event.

The facility was clean and nicely put together. I felt like they did a good job with layout and design. They have a few "games" that you can play as you throw your axes. Gives it a competitive edge which can be enjoyable.

My only issue was group size. They run pretty big groups of 10-12. That means I didn't really feel like I had enough time to actually practice and get any kind of axe throwing success. That doesn't detract from the fun we had, but it's something to...

Great concept, but with only one instructor for a full class there was not nearly as much time to actually throw the axe as I had hoped. In a 1.5 hour session, each person only got about a dozen throws as 95% of the time we were waiting to take our turn. Having 2-3 instructors per class would have made this a 5-star activity. The majority of class was able to hit the target about half the time, and no one left feeling defeated. Parking is ample and facilities clean. Not a must do in Dallas, but pretty fun to try during a free evening if you are looking for something novel.

Such a fun evening. My husband and I went on a Monday night (last minute date night whim- kids are at camp) and had a blast. Davis was our instructor and we were paired with a duo of brothers on our team competing against a group of two amazing mom/daughter duos. Many of our friends that have gone go in groups of four or eight so I was unsure how it would be with just the two of us showing up- and it was still excellent. Davis is full of life, funny, entertaining and certainly gets the groups pumped. I highly recommend Class Axe for a fun date night or a big group.
