Please beware of this place! I spoke with the owner Chris when I went to purchase a mattress and adjustable bed and was promised if the adjustable base did not fit my bed I could return it. I specifically asked this question because I did not have the measurements for my new bed and wanted to ensure I wouldn’t be stuck with something I could not use. The owner is a fast talker and promised a lot things that turned out to not be true (remove old box spring if needed, deliver bed after furniture arrived, return if not satisfied, to name a few) but ensured me I could return the bed if it didn’t work. He spoke about how many 5 star reviews he has on Google and how in his 20 years of business he has only seen one bed that didn’t fit the base. Of course once my furniture was delivered the base did not fit the bed and I needed to return it. I spoke with the delivery crew (which were some of the nicest people ever) about the process to return the base and was told there were no refunds or exchanges and pointed out the clause on the sales receipt. I informed them the owner said if it didn’t fit I could return the base which was the only reason it was purchased. They offered to reach out to the manger Mike for assistance and after a few calls it was agreed I could return the base as promised. Crisis averted I thought! Boy was I was wrong. The adjustable base was picked up in June and I have still not received a full refund for the adjustable base. I was told the refund would come 2-3 weeks after the bed was returned. I had not heard anything so I reached out and was told they would get back to me. After a month of being promised it would be sent on a certain day, I was finally told the lady that does the books was out of checks and they had to be reordered. I would follow up every week and still no progress. Finally the manger offered to refund some money back in cash since it had been so long (over 2 months to be exact) and I picked up $500 in cash (about half of the amount spent). I was told they would let me know when they received more cash but it would probably be around Labor Day since it’s one of the biggest days. I felt like they were trying to make good on the refund even though it had been months so I remained patient. I followed up after Labor Day and was told they didn’t sell any mattresses so they did not have the remainder of the money. Now every time I call or go to the building no one knows what’s going on and I’m always pointed back to the manager and I am no longer getting a response. The manager did call a couple of weeks ago to say someone was working on it but to date I have not received a full refund. I purchased the adjustable base on 6/9/23 and as of today, 12/13/23 my full refund has not been received. I would avoid this place at all cost if anything is needed after your bed is delivered! Great prices but no follow through if something is wrong.

Update in response to owner: I have come into the store and talked to you on 2 occasions and you thanked me for my patience. You apologized to my face for the issue and said you would work quickly to refund the remaining balance. After 6 months of giving me the run around I finally posted a review because no one is answering the phone or providing a solution. Heads up - the 75% off is not an actual sale. The owner, Chris, is nice as long as you don’t ask questions. He stormed out of the office when I started questioning what brand the mattress we looked at was and about the markdown price listed - I googled the Super Pedic that they sell and saw the real prices and the discrepancy. Chris boasted about his good reviews and then asked us to leave a 5 star to get a free $200 pillow. We ended up going to a big name retailer and getting a high end mattress without all the smoke and mirrors. Edited to add: I’m laughing at your response, Chris. I find it hilarious a grown man can’t handle criticism and throws a full on tantrum when a customer dare asks questions. You didn’t kick me out of the office - you stormed out of the office like a petulant child when I had questions about the mattress brand authenticity because I found the exact brand at cheaper prices online - your prices aren’t discounted, they’re inflated. I’ve dealt with used car salesmen who are more honest than you, Sir. Calling me a Karen because I called you out for your dishonesty is laughable. Bragging about reviews that are clearly fake or only made to get a free pillow is just so desperate. When you look up the past reviews of the people leaving 5 stars many of them are reviewing multiple mattress stores - clearly paid to do so insert laughter My advice is get some help for your anger issues - based on your responses to all the negative reviews you need to seek professional help....

Mattress Clearance Center is the worst place I've ever shopped. Chris Tucker who so called help me lied about the terms and payments of the contract with whom I took out credit. He asked you to fill out a review before you even get the credit contract that you apply for. I gave them a GREAT REVIEW based on what he was telling me and it was a VERY BIG MISTAKE. Please don't shop here or listing to what he say, he pass his self off as a CHRISTIAN but the way he talked to me after I explained that he lied about the terms of the contract and told me which I have the text messages that Chris Tucker sent to me to never come back to his store because I'm not welcomed there. Is that the voice of a CHRISTIAN. I told him that I couldn't pay 500 a month for a mattress that he said would be only 50 with the option to pay more if I wanted. We'll they didn't give me that option it was 248.96 every 2 weeks with no options. Please don't let him fool you into a contract that you may not be able to get out of and he won't let you return the mattress. I know that there has to be more people who he has done this to that just let it slide because they figure it's best to just pay then fight.
