Horrible service, don’t come here unless you want to be ignored. I arrived before others but the employees chose to assist them instead so I waited patiently but for a long time and ended up leaving. Normally, I would have gone to Jabin Jewelers who are very friendly.
I’m editing this review to respond to the business because there is nuance that was left out and misleading statements.
First, I completely understand that your store was busy, that is not at all what my issue was. I was initially called in and was started to be assisted by a man but when I said I wanted to look at bracelets , I was told to “look over there”. I did not say I was merely browsing and you making that assumption is probably why I was not assisted properly. Perhaps my error was not stating that I was ready to buy. If I simply wanted to look, I would have come back on another day. Second, the woman who offered to help me in between clients was kind but she was already assisting someone else so I have no problem with that interaction. My issue is that I was initially assigned to someone and then he left to go assist others after I looked at some necklaces but he most likely assumed I’m not going to buy anything because he then said “ I have to assist this person”. I thought he would come back after that so I was fine with it even though I had arrived first. However he never came back and continued to assist others and only after I started to leave he offered help. Why offer me help after I’m leaving? It’s unprofessional for a business to assume and leave a misleading comment when simply apologizing and recognizing that sometimes the ball can be dropped would have sufficed.
2nd edit:
At no point did he indicate that he was coming back to assist me. It wasn’t until I was leaving that he called out to me. You are not the only store that gets busy, it’s completely understandable that staff could get tied up. He could have communicated better and as a first time customer it’s on you not me to ensure traffic flow. Instead of trying to gaslight me, you should reflect on how you can better handle situations like these in the future. Many stores experience busy times and I would prefer to support a local business than a large retailer but only if the service is good and reasonable. I told you my experience and you insist that I am somehow to blame but at the end if that’s your prerogative, than that’s fine. As a customer I can choose to go somewhere else...
Read moreThese people are either willfully ignorant or scammers -- neither is a scenario which you should want to do business with.
For the past three days, we have been harassed by them to resolve a payment for an item that we purchased. When we initially went to purchase our item, we asked to pay with a credit card. They announced they would have to charge a fee to use it (which is illegal in Texas, but I digress). So, they suggested we pay via Zelle. They provided us a phone number to send the money to and we did so. Our bank indicates that the Zelle transaction was accepted and then completed the following day. A few days later we get a call from someone who identified themselves as Abu-Zaki of Leena's Jewelry. They indicated they did not receive the money and that we needed to call our bank. We did so as a gesture of good will and our bank indeed verified that they received the money. We called back the following day stating that it went through and asked them to VERIFY the number we sent it to. They verified the number was correct. Abu-Zaki then asked us to open a fraud case with our bank which we refused to do. The day after, we received a call from another person saying that they received a text message when we sent the money and that it went to a Citi bank account. They demanded we go visit our branch to resolve their problem and that they could "legally" show they did not receive their money. At this point we said if they called us again, we would call the police and they are free to take whatever "legal" measures they want.
Again, these folks are either incompetent and don't know how to use technology and/or money apps or they trying to poorly pull off an elaborate scam. Stay away from this place .......
Read moreLeena Jewelry is a great place to buy gold. They have a really nice variety and you can order or resize also fix jewelry and i sold few old pieces which are all great services. I really love the pieces i bought from them. And they have fixed my necklace miraculously. All the staff i have dealt with were super nice. I have dealt with the owner and his wife and both are very sweet and helpful.
After ton of visits for this store, i can finally write a full review. Before you visit take these points in consideration; Check gold prices per gram online before you visit so you won't be surprised of the prices. You need to have good knowledge of how gold jewelry or bullions prices gets calculated. Ask several stores and Don't buy without asking around. Unfortunately i faced two incidents in this store with different associates; and If i didn't know the prices before my visit i would have bought with inflated price. although they found out that they were wrong after they checked they didn't even try to apologize. The staff are nice but few of them need to be more professional and knowledgeable about how to deal with customers' questions. For example; one associate has a tendency of ignoring the customer and not look at the one while discussing to show how insignificant is the conversation which happened with several people during my visits in addition to my self, i consider this disrespectful but with just a light customer service and emotional intelligence trainings would fix...
