I went in 9 days ago. There was no one else in the salon. I had a gift certificate for $50.00 that I brought to their attention right away, asking if I would get the left over money back if I didn’t spend 50. They said yes. I asked for a basic full set (White tips). I’ve been to many nail salons before and a basic full set is $25 - $30. (Acrylic not gel) I understand that some places may vary by price. They said it was $50.00 for what I wanted. Due to me questioning the price I feel like the technician rushed and was rude. (I was very nice and friendly I never became rude what so ever). The woman who was not the nail tech explained to me that the reason why it’s so much is because they only have gel powder. By the time I just was like okay, it’s fine. They were also supposed to be pink and white and are not. Another customer walked in about 10 minutes into my session, and I was done 10 minutes later. 20 minutes to do a full set? It takes a minimum of 45 minutes any time I’ve ever gone before. They didn’t look terrible when I was finished besides them being a little uneven. A few days later every single nail started lifting around all the edges as if it was going to come off. I didn’t have the time to go get them fixed so I went today. It was the same nail tech. I was very kind and friendly and explained the situation and showed them and asked if there was anything to do to fix them. I honestly expected them to be re done due to every single one lifting and looking bad. They wanted me to get a fill. A fill is due every two weeks (14 days) I have 5 days left before I am due for a fill. Needing a fill and all the nails lifting off is different. The woman who was not the nail tech explained to me that she would lift off the parts that were coming off (every nail) and fill them. She lifted off the parts on a few nails not all of them and then filled them with clear gel nail polish. (She explained she would fill them with acrylic but the first time I went in there was only gel.) You do not fill with clear gel nail polish and a gel light. They were also very unfriendly due to me needing to get them fixed. I will never go here again and would not recommend it!!! And they do not look any better, I just wasn’t going to continue to try after all of that. The clear nail polish she used to “fill them” is now chunky on my nail and looks terrible! I will be going somewhere else and getting them completely re done. (In the photo I provided you can see the chunky clear coat. The second one looks like I need a fill due to her lifting off the ends and filling with nail polish rather than powder.) you get a fill after 14...
Read moreI used to come this this place pre-pandemic and loved it but since, their service has changed. I went in with grown out almond shaped nails and dip manicure over them. When I walked in I let them know that I wanted to keep the shape but switch back to gel instead of dip. There were only two women there and one of them starts on me right away. She clips the tip of my nails to which I comment before that I want to keep them long she assures me yes its just the tips (which could have been filed down) she then proceeds to take out nail tips out to wedge between my nail and gel instead of soaking them off. Needless to say it left my nails destroyed. Afterwards, she has audacity to ask me what shape I want -.- to which I reply "well I wanted to keep the almond shape but I think all we can do now is just cut them short to their natural shape" at this point the other woman comes over and starts talking to the woman doing my nails. I don't understand what they are saying but her tone sounded angry. The other one tells me that she said she didn't cut my nails -.- I didn't know what to say and I wasn't even trying to argue that point so I just responded "I don't know what to say but I came in with grown out nails and she used a nail clipper" she then continues to file my nails and without allowing me to go wash my hands she puts lotion on my hands. I could feel all the nail dust bits on my hands it was so disgusting. In the end the other woman refiled my nails and did gel nail polish and it was decent, however I would never go back and I suggest you don't either. They never apologized and had me pay through Venmo but told me not to write "nails" to write something non descriptive. LOL this...
Read moreSadly, my appointment on 6-8-23 did not go well at all. I've been going to this place for over 2 years under prior management and absolutely loved it, never any issues. So, I thought my daughter and I would give this place a try, since now under new management. I had an appointment for a manicure/pedicure, and my daughter for a gel pedicure. My pedicure started fine, until the lady doing my pedicure decided to put callus removal gel on the top of my feet versus just the bottom of my feet and it instantly burned my toes. I immediately put my foot in water, and she did on my other foot, same scenario!! She washed my feet off and that did stop the burning, but she burned two of my toes!! She proceeded to finish my pedicure. She then proceeded to clean up the station while I was still there, no thank you, no nothing, and then walked away and helped another person, totally ignoring me! I asked another worker if she is coming back to do my manicure, really no assistance. So I sat there with my pedicure drying talking with my daughter until her gel pedicure was done. Another lady did come up to me to apologize and asked if she could do my manicure, I said no. By this time, I'd already decided to go elsewhere for my manicure and to NEVER go there again. This could've gone badly at this place, but I held my composure until I left. Why I even paid for the service, I don't know. But, for them to burn my toes, still hurts and will probably blister, and for that lady to totally ignore me is completely unacceptable. My advice, go someplace else. Sadly, the situation didn't deserve...
